Yes it was a cavalcade color. Like the 296 I front of my Roma. And since we are talking colors! Come on guys. Help me. Have I seen the new painted numbers option on the side of the doors? Or have I imagined it:

Absolutely love that family of orange brown leathers, including Mandarino Antigua , orange & Arancio Mykonos
I used to love Grigio Ferro but this must obviously be Nuovo Grigio Ferro which IMO has lost all appeal, now it's just a medium/dull silvergrey whereas before it was really something special.
Old Grigio Ferro > Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Still the same Grigio Ferro I think. Just the look of those pictures makes that paint a bit less striking?
The photo's look to have been taken on a dull and overcast winter's day here so it's hard to make any colour look vibrant in those conditions.
You mean these? Saw these numbers first on 812 Competizione (A) renders; have also become available for GTSs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still probably Nuovo GF which is necessarily different to previous GF. I believe Nuovo GF was introduced around the same time as the GTC4Lusso and it already looked a little less striking and vibrant back in the day. I'd be happy to be proved wrong with multiple samples or pictures, though.
The build plate for this car lists the colour as Grigio Ferro Met 790. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting that there is a new GF. I have had on a couple of cars and love the warmth of the color. I am considering for my PS and will make sure to note the code above as I love the original
Interestingly, the code seems to remain the same, even if they (Ferrari) commented on the current one being a new version. I didn't make that up! I can totally recall talks of this around the time of the introduction of the Lusso.
Glasurit list six codes for Grigio Ferro Met so the formulation has changed over the years. The current version is Code 790 and was introduced in 2008 it would appear. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Confusingly enough 790 would appear to be discontinued in 2015 whereas Grigio Ferro Met 264625 2015 to 2023. This would be current version if there is no further code specification. My best attempt to accomodate both your position and mine is that the GTS pictured above wears Ferro 790 by customer request but nevertheless the current theoretical standard Ferro would be 264625 as this was the revised version from 2015 onwards. But anyway the new version 264625 might not have been successful so they resort to classic 790 everytime Grigio Ferro is requested.
I saw your car today! So beautiful....!! The stripe is really great, there but not in your face! Congratulations on a gorgeous spec!
