For the first time in months it was not raining and dry, so I got the cars out for a warm up and to get the fluids circulated.
The roundel is from the last time I drove the car at Silverstone in September. I broke my leg and cracked a couple of vertebra in my back a few weeks later, so I was not able to drive it until now.
I am well on the mend now.

Congrats! And great job on the spec! Wow! I love that color, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to capture with a photo. Let us know how you like the car when it gets warmer and you’ve a proper drive. First Ferrari V12?

Also, could you provide details on your spacers and lugs? My GTS should be here soon. Thanks.

thanks! It’s Rosso 70 Anni. So darker than Rosso Corsa. They put a Rosso Corsa F8 behind my car so I could see the difference. Very apparent when next to each other, but to the external world they probably won’t see a difference.

The reason I went with standard wheels with the weight penalty was because I find all Ferrari wheels uninspiring. I knew I needed spacers so just got the standard wheels and ordered spacers and extended titanium bolts from Hill in the UK(quality is amazing).

My buddy will be selling me his TDF wheels if I want, but I also like the Monza wheels. My other option is to have Forgeline make me custom ultralight wheels as they have done for me in the past.

    Thanks man!
It’s the first Ferrari V12 I have owned. Have driven the 575, 599, F12, 812 many times. But when I drove the 812 it was just the perfect package for me. I have faster and lighter cars, but this car is so complete.

My wife took it out last night and said she wants her own and she was serious. Even my son drove it and he is a track rat and was really impressed.

For spacers and lugs, I ordered the Novitec, Bonoss, and Hill Engineering spacers and few different brand titanium lugs. The Hill Engineering from UK was so far ahead in quality than all the others. Even asked my father who has a large engineering company to check them out and he chose the Hill products.

the only thing is they are in UK and have to pay duty, like an extra $45.00. But I had them in 3 days!

I had to sell/return the others.

What a first Ferrari V12! That’s great! And yes, you have an assortment of incredible cars…all the finest cars in their respective classes, but the 812 certainly fills a slot that no other car can.

Which size spacers did you with? I noticed that Hill offers 11mm, 15mm, and 20mm.

On a side note, with a crap TON of awesome cars to select from, how much seat time do you get in each? Any clear favorites? What’s the typical use case for each. I ask because I have a modest assortment of cool cars and find myself continuously fighting the urge to add more, but I am not able to give proper attention to the ones I already have.

I waste a lot of money on full ppf and ceramic coating, lol. I drive them everywhere depending on my mood. I live in a very boring area with no real crime so my biggest worry is potholes and door dings. I do drive them to work, so it gives me time be in mentally clear headspace when I get there in the morning, and decompress on the way home. The 992 GT3 is on snow tires currently lol.

Also if you will be installing the spacers yourself, the stock lugs are 22mm, the titanium are T-80s, but hill will send a bit in the case if you don't have one already. I would recommend an alignment pin, and anti-seize(copper grease), just makes it easier in the future.
