Interesting to see the GPS antenna stuck on the trunk/boot (which to me looks ugly!). Mine doesn't have that. I wonder if that's due to certain options being selected? As an aside, I am always surprised that for certain things, Ferrari seems to do a shoddy / poor integration, totally at odds with the price point (e.g. the above antenna, also the rear camera stuck on the rear boot lid of the 812 Competitizione, the front facing ADAS/radar thing in the grille of the 812 GTS etc). Do they think people don't notice/care??
I ordered my GTS without one piece of CF at all. Even the LED steering wheel is covered in leather. This is a GT car for me. (I did order CF racing Daytona’s though purely for the interior space issue.)
This is a truly stunning colour and so unusual to see. I've enquired about it with a local UK dealer and the paint code seems to change with the years - so the latest was (I think) FERRARI 666109? This could indeed be the case as the few cars with the colour do seem somewhat different in appearance (notably the recent Sothebys auction car). Any expert insight appreciated!

Hello, what colours is this? Looks fantastic and my wife and I are trying to decide (and failing!) Many thanks Joel
He said Grigio GTS the launch color for his 812 paint. See post #1163 and #1169 here in this picture thread. Grigio Silverstone is another nice paint choice if you like the grigio paints! Also Grigio Coburn to.
Indeed! TRAVELLER called Grigio Ferro his 'go to' paint when he could not decide which color to choose for his new Ferrari.
Right, for some of us we have had a glorious Summer to sample these cars. For those South of the equator, your tyre temperature time is coming, happy days. For those still waiting, your in for a treat. For those that missed the last order, never mind….I hope you get to sample….truly. Keen to learn what do we really think….I see lots of spectacular specced machines, which is a major factor of the V12 flagship…. But would love to hear what is the driving experience has been like for those taken possession/custodial-ship . For me here is how it goes… - I feel lucky to have one of these, ticks all the Ferrari boxes. All of them, and most important the V12 one. - genuinely superfast, with handling close to the best of the best Fcars (dare I say it, close to my Speciale in this consideration - there I have said it, that rear wheel steer really works on the limit on track and mid corner speed really is fast, really fast testing the nerves, and perhaps quicker than the Speciale, but nothing will beat a Speciale for front end turn in though…end game) and the outright power of the V12 is brutal and almost time-warping on the run down to the next corner on any straight, let the engine sing….immense thrust of the V12 to 9,000 rpm…. - the sound is epic and maybe cast in time, continuous, never ending crescendo of build up of sound….and thrust (I have disconnected my exhaust valves (15 min job) and it gives a tuneful note all the time), the pitch is perfect for my ears and is always there….some may wish for more, and very possible in aftermarket, but I value my ears…GPF arguments dead and buried for me…the GTS has an even higher pitch note than the non GPF Superfast’s. - performance, faster but not as scary as an F12, and the performance much more accessible (all of it), and in reality faster than figures may suggest if you are brave enough to push….which you should because it really is accessible, really push it…very compliant. (Still really love the F12…less scary with the modern tyres but still bitey..) - the rear window, all of the noise no wind. - the open air V12 when the roof is down on the right day…perfect…really perfect. Is there anything we don’t like….not as edgy as an F12 ? I am struggling to criticise, it’s all about the engine open air, maybe it’s not so good on mpg…(oh oh….) Keen to get views feelings. End game of the NA V12 beasts ? Are we reaching pinnacle edges of excellence, how does Ferrari really build on this, does anyone really want to go faster, is the next car about more speed (mostly driven on public roads) ? Genuinely one of the nicest entraining satisfying cars ever….surely Any views welcome… For those that are still admiring in the garage, you are missing out. Get them on the road / track. I think the owner said regarding no shields 'it was a mistake at the factory'. Not as ordered originally...

I always think of purple as a more McLaren or Lamborghini colour but my goodness I do like that! I really do need to decide what I'm doing. I thought it was going to be Grigio Alloy but then my dealer got one in for service and it looked just a little bit bland to me. Current favourite is Blu Pozzi. I haven't seen any in the UK in this colour (loads of TDF and grey) so hopefully not a resale killer.
That is very interesting, because I was a long-term enthusiast of grigio alloy and everyone (wife, friends, dealer) advised against it, so I am considering to go for blu pozzi. Would you have some pictures to share of the grigio alloy one?
I love Pozzi but I think it better suits other Ferrari's, like the 458 or F12. I think that on the 812 it really hides the dramatic lines of the car and deserves a colour with a metallic fleck. Alloy does such a great job of that...For example this F8 Tributo I saw in Grigio Alloy - you can really see how "liquid" the paint looks even on a cloudy day.
