Marcel do you have any picture of the marrying between the car body and the powertrain? If you do I'm rather curious to see it...
Just had confirmation from my dealer that my build process has begun and I now have a chassis number. I will be sure to post progress pics as they become available... excited is an undeastatment!
Not from the V12 assembly line but from the 8 cylinder line. Here's one showing the "robot" with the engine on it and the 488 coming from above, to be united. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Marcel I thank you very much for the picture and in this case that's no doubt the moment a new Ferrari 488 is born….
Here's a special red one. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow - this must be rosso maranello - a triple layer colour, my absolute favorite as I have it on my F12. This turns my speccing plans 180 degrees... from grigio ferro to rosso maranello. I didn't expect this colour to look so great on the 812... No I have to think about the interior from zero. decisions, decisions...
This 812 SF at the factory had an all red interior (please don't ask me for the correct red color name). Marcel Massini
Here's a spectacular 812 SF outside Villa Cora in Florence last week during the 55th Anniversary Meeting of the 250 GTO. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pictures. Thank you for posting them. Very helpful to see the black outer parts in good lighting. I think they don't need to be in carbon.
What more could anyone say aside from "THANK YOU MARCEL!" Fantastic photos. The new Grigio Ingrid almost looks like a more gentle silver color. Not has "hard" as Argento (which I love) - kind of like Bianco Fuji but with a nudge over to silver. I will look forward to seeing more of this color in the future. Based on that one picture, I just added to my list of Ferrari colors that I really love...
Nuovo Grigio Ingrid Not sure about that - the new grigo ingrid has actually been around since 2007. Note an old paint sticker for reference > For my 2 cents; Image Unavailable, Please Login more likely grigio abu dhabi...
I can only echo the thanks to Mr Massini for all these nice pictures... And I still can't like the directional wheels.
Allow me to repost that picture that is definitely the one that made me accept the 812 design.Fabulous. It's ALWAYS better in grey.
