Carlo my friend , CONGRATS!!! What a stunning looking car , great classy spec.... ND really suits the shape. Great write up, and enjoy many many hours in the Australian summer -- I think there are going to be a lot of unnecessary trips using long routes !!!
You are so right Jag....wifey asked me to get the milk tonight so naturally the 812 was first choice...wifey not so happy it took me an hour to get home!
Are those the full electric seats? And how do they feel compared to past experience? We ordered standard seats with full electric and I am hopeful they are at least as comfortable for the long drives as the daytona full electrics in our Cali T... Such a beautiful car! I know you will really enjoy her. Thanks for the write up! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Sylvainsm, you have a killer collection. The 812 is in good company! It must be a full time job maintaining the collection in running order. Best of luck with the latest addition.
Thanks for posting! Your photographs give a true idea of the Nero Daytona color. (I have a Nero Daytona 458 spider.) Congrats on a great looking car!
I have had Daytona seats in the past and they were uncomfortable for me so I resolved not to order again. These standard seats are comfortable in so much that after 180 kms in the saddle I jumped out of the car without even thinking of my back - in fact your question made me think of the seat comfort for the first time. So I have to conclude that they are comfortable, and easy to get in and out of. They are 8 way adjustable electric with no other manual option to adjust-see pic below. I did not option this so the electric adjustment component must be standard (for the Australian market at least). Image Unavailable, Please Login

FYI - standard in Aus is the electric seat. The full electric seat is another $10,045, which seems ridiculous at first - but it adds lumbar and side bolster control as well as electric steering column, memory seats, dipping mirrors (for reversing) and heating. Still expensive but what Ferrari option isn't.
I e had Daytona seats in two prior cars and have this to say about their feel. Until they are broeken in I found them to be slightly uncomfortable. After broken in they were better. It takes a while to get them softened up. Can I ask a quick question about whether your car has the auto tilt feature for the passenger side mirror. (Automatically tilts down when in reverse to aid in seeing the curb while parking)
Good to hear. We spec’d the standard seats plus full electric. I’m glad to hear they are comfortable. Should make all those miles even more enjoyable!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Amen to that. In fact, I think the default forum setting should be set to strip out photos when quoting an existing post.
Thanks for that clarification regarding the full electrical seat option details from the other members - so my mirrors do not tilt when in reverse. Given I am the only driver most of the Full Electric option benefits are of no real value to me, especially when costing $10K AUD, but I do wish I had the auto tilt on reverse! That is time saving when parking and trying to avoid kerbing the wheels.
