This happened in The Netherlands today. Sad to see the 812 in this state. It is not known what caused the fire. It seems to have started at the rear of the driver’s side, this is the oppersite side to the fuel filler, so its not likly to be fuel. I am not sure what’s in the car in that position? Was it the superfast that had a problem with the wheel well lining catching fire or the F12? I can't remember but I am sure they fixed that.
Exactly what I was thinking….very interesting place for a fire to start. Very sorry to the owner and hope all are safe
I was not even close. It was the 458 , it was a late night at FOC ball in London last night! That's my excuse. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rather obvious but it had to be something in contact with the exhaust line which caught fire. It should be the only source of heat back there, no?
The transaxle is back there, if it leaks badly enough in the wrong spot I would imagine it could catch fire from the exhaust. I would doubt the trans case would get hot enough.
I wasn't fan of 812 until I saw this one in person. Pictures don't do the justice. Image Unavailable, Please Login
2wd drive driven by bad driver who can’t drive. Clearly the driver had no legs and could not reach the throttle.
If the no leg man who can’t drive is driving, the I agree. But with proper driver, 812 obviously wins. (Does have dodgy brakes though - mine exhibits the inconsistent feel problem I have read about in reviews and seen in Jethro Bovingdon’s YouTube review. Sometimes it gives a sense that it won’t stop in time). But other than that, would smash that family car. Smash it! Fake video.

Beauty. Like most Ferraris the 812 is definitely 3D art, not 2D. Furthermore, these cars look even better when you drive near them and see them in motion, something transformative happens when gliding along the road in terms of visual appeal.
The way how now to treate a 812 SF: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CbSN8r_jXx2/?utm_medium=share_sheet This guy is a perfect candidate to get on Ferraris blacklist.
