The OFFICIAL "I dont own a Ferrari but I wish I did and ALL I keep dreaming about is me in a CS and suddenly waking up in my crappy bedroom with a Honda parked on my driveway BUT I swear Im going to get me one" Thread.

The only thing I own is a Ferrari 456 Stock Stereo sitting in my garage collecting dust. (PM if you wanna buy it :) )Thats about as close as I get to waking up to a Ferrari. What 'bout you?

I wonder how many Ferrari-less members make up F-chat? 65%?

    ...How many? Roll Call!!

Finally, I find my home. :)

    I tried. I really did. I drove a 355B.

    Thought I'd try something modern.

    Nice car.....

Didn't really do much for me.

    I NEED a 330 GTC.

Yup...that's me. Except in my case, it's a VW Golf. And the neatest Ferrari thing I own would either be the boutique sign from Ferrari of Ontario or the Ferrari Colorado licence plate made up for the 2000 Annual Rally.

    One day....one day...

    Uro....great taste...the 330s are beautiful. I'd gladly take one as my first F-car. That or a 308GT4.

    DD.

    how about a 512TR???

12 cylinders, goes like stink, won't fit in the garage, plenty of them around, as a matter of fact, there were three in the repair bays at Algar today.

Hmmmm.... maybe that should be a clue as to why not to get one.

    NAH!!!!!

Like a 330 would be LESS trouble?

Count me in. I thought I had my chance back in 2002 for a 85 308GTB QV but I'm still trying to recover from a bad business deal that went south. In the meantime I'll just keep working for the goal.

Alas, I do not own a Ferrari - yet... The closest I've come is my current hobby car - a 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo... which is pretty quick, but it's not Italian... I hope, in the not to distant future, to get in to a Rosso Corsa 308... but I'd like to make a larger down payment than what I've got saved up, so it's on hold - for now...

I have my ferrari keychain waiting to be united in holy matrimony with a Ferrari key...in the meantime though I have a 97 328i. And I wear my Ferrari hat as I walk my dog, going past the houses that I know have Ferrari's, praying for a little glimpse...lol...I'm a Ferrari stalker...

I almost went in debt for a QV. I decided to stick with my MR2 Turbo that's paid for... and faster. :(

Now if I could just have both....:) But then the rational part of my brain always kicks in. Stupid rational part of brain.

I am a member of the Ferrari-less club as well. Maybe in the next few years.....*sigh*

I did see someone who was desperately stretching to be in the Ferrari 'club' tho. A guy pulled into work with a newer Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton, heavy-duty with Ferrari emblem stickers on the fenders. I had to laugh. I was wondering if that was what happened when GM bought Fiat...a Ferrari truck. And so quickly too. :p

Everybody has to do something for fun....:)

Besides, I just want to get invited to the party when you finally get the car of your dreams.

Until then, my invitation stands, come up for the weekend and drive mine, for as long as you want, or until something breaks. Bring a kid, don't you have some that are approaching college age? They can tour Penn, Villanova, St. Josephs, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, Drexel, Temple, Widener, Ursinus, Franklin and Marshall, and more, all within an hour's drive from my home. Most within 15 minutes, ten in the Dino.

    So come on already.

BTW, there's a nice looking Dino on Ebay right now!!!

How'd you go about renting a Ferrari under the age of 25? Everywhere I seem to look they say you have to be atleast 25 but there are exceptions for 21 year olds. Rare though...

We do own a Ferrari but there's nothing wrong with stickers on other vehicles - I have a new Chevy Silverado, 2500 HD, 4x4 diesel with a shield in the back window; a red Chevy 4x4 diesel HD with a bigger shield, a SLK350 with one in the small side window, a C320C with one in the back window and a Sooner horse trailer with a large red Ferrari sticker across one of the back doors and shields on both sides in the back - so it's not unusual to see them everywhere! oop's there's even prancing horses on the red shifter kart.
