Does anybody know if the owner of the Blu Elettrico LaFerrari in Washington state got an allocation for an Aperta? I would LOVE to see an Aperta in the same color!

I suggest to wait and see...:)

599XX has left the mighty TDF stable...

Even if he has an allocation, It won't happen. LafA's are only available in Red, yellow, white, black and grey.

Like Peter said, you can roll on the floor and cry like a baby, they won't paint you the car in another color.

I would bet that the mirror arms of the coupe created a lot of buffeting/wind turbulence with the top off. They likely redesigned/relocated them in order to cut down on cabin noise during top off driving.

Never thought of aero issues but your suggestion seems very reasonable.

It would not be fair to possibly let another owner re-paint their LaFerrari Aperta another color and deny that chance to someone else. I hope that everyone is given this chance should they want to.

I don't understand... everybody does what he wants with a car once he's the owner no ? How can they deny the right to respray after delivery ? A kind of contract ?

Once you own it you can do what ever you want, obviously Ferrari may get upset and not give you limited cars anymore... However, if you are a Top20 customer nothing will happen probably...

Nowadays, what does constitute the top 20 of Ferrari clients for the most part?

"Buy every single new car in tailor made + XX + challenge" or "have been a supercar client since the 60s" or more like "oil money ordering every car in all rainbow colors"? Mix of those? (the Henn story suggests that being a long time client or prominent collector is no longer sufficient to be in the top 20)

Not an Aperta. Possibly a one off 458/488?

    Maybe a 70 years anniversary 488 ?

EDIT : Just checked Instagram. Not a V8 and not a Laf

That thing starts to intrigue me a lot !! I have NO CLUE what it can be.

He already owns the whole damn' screamin' bunch (The 5 Ferrari Halo cars)... And it's written "Atelier" on the cover.

Not a Laf. Not a V8. It clearly has the shape of a mid-engined car. WHAT THE HELL can it be ?

Not a FXXK, we would have seen the two small winglets under the cover.

Greg ! We are Ferrarichat ! we have the right to know. Tell me, I won't repeat ! ;)

At least tell us when it's going to be public !!!!

This has got to be one of the LF SP cars... That is not a LF nose/hood. Hopefully it's shared soon.

Door and rear fender are very much 458, not 488.

Looks to have vents in the hood and are less pronounced that those on 488, looking a bit like F50 style.

Not a V8, huh? We all thought Clapton's special was going to be a V12, but I thought the issue was certifying the car with a non-original engine.

Maserati V6? Why, though? Still would have same issue for certification.
