That's due to currency conversion not some sale tactics. 26000000 Uae dirham don't convert evenly into usd. So what is so funny? Not surprised coming from the guy who thinks 250 gto's are rusty piles of garbage.
the Aperta has an extra damp at the front, which the LaFerrari normally not have. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
In actual fact there is more to just that. The whole aero at the front of the car has had to be redeveloped in large part because the front radiator has been repositioned to change the hot airflow over the top of the windscreen. Then there was the issue of stopping hot air from getting into the cabin. So at the end of the day, there was a fairly significant redesign. The prowess of Ferrari is that you can't see it unless you know where to look and the car's behavior even at very high speed is the same as the coupé.
Why they must change the position of the radiator? The new damp has also the California T. I am interested to understand how it works for rebuilt the Imola spoiler of my F512GTB
I understood Chalstrad that the hot air over the windscreen and roof obviously would get into the cabin in the (roofless) Aperta. So where exactly was the radiator repositioned? Very interesting subject. I suspect a similar story exists about the rearview mirrors.
That is correct. The radiator in question is still in the front but its positioning (angle) is quite different. This changes the flow of air and therefore the aero effect - requiring a rethink in order to obtain the same results. Remember that ferrari have always worked to create downforce that is balanced without having to simply resort to wings and other appendices
