    Hey,

    Prompted by this from Autosport;

    Fred's gonna "work on his conditioning"! WTF!?

    Be interesting to compare Phil & De La Pinks times......

    Cheers,

    Nico Rosberg on twitter today said W4 is indeed very quick but still lots of work needed.

    And how would he possibly know that?! Usual pre-testing speculative nonsense...

    As I keep saying, "hope springs eternal" in this (and all other I guess) sport. IIRC, both Fred & Phil claimed Clifford was good until it hit the track.......

    Presumably, he's gone quicker in the simulator than he ever did in W03. And we know what Kimi has said about sims! ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

    That's exactly right guys, simulators don't win races.

    Mercedes and Mclaren have *the* simulators on the grid these days, and drivers even mention they can tell if an upgrade works or not, but combine that with real life analogue situations such as track temps, fickle tires, and the type of underwear a driver is or isn't wearing and the sim numbers have just flown out the window.

    Soon the simulators will be how they race ... is this becoming pathetic and insulated little world of ours where everybody is petrified that somebody should die doing something that has purpose to them.

    Pre-season testing times and comments are utterly pointless ...

    With testing just around the corner, has anyone seen any details regarding NBC's TV coverage? I can't find anything other than some basic team and race schedule info.
    It would be great if they had a pre-season catch up show to set the stage and then coverage of the test sessions.
