Bought this yesterday and I can tell you for sure it is worth getting if you're a Formula One fan. I never really knew all that much about Senna because he died when I was still a kid (at least I got to see him racing in Adelaide in '92 and '93), and these DVDs really enlightened me as to why he is still loved and remembered around the world; a truly great man on and off the track.

Contains 2 DVDs with 194 minutes total content and a picture booklet.

Produced in cooperation with his family, the Ayrton Senna Foundation, and the following people (who are all interviewed):

    Alain Prost
    Gerhard Berger
    Damon Hill
    Frank Williams
    Rubens Barrichello
    Nicola Larini
    Nuno Cobra
    Sid Mosca
    Viviane Senna
    Leonardo Senna
    Jo Ramirez
    Josef Leberer
    Tom Wheatcroft
    Sid Watkins
    Murray Walker

    Disc 1

The Right to Win (52 mins)
The Lifestyle of Ayrton Senna in Brazil (44 mins)
The Ayrton Senna Foundation (5 mins)
    Senna's First F1 Tests (7 mins)
Senna's Honda NSX Test (5 mins)
    Statistics
    Picture Gallery (50 Pictures)
Senna 'Music and Image Impression' (19 mins)

    Disc 2

Yes, very awesome DVD. Worth every penny. I ordered mine from www.senna.tv. Took about 2 weeks to come from Europe. It has alot of great interviews as shown above. Alain Prost's were certainly good and I thought he sounded genuine, although he still sounds like a racer. The fact that it gives insight into the Ayrton Senna Foundation with interviews with Vivianne, his sister, is a plus. I thought it would be a cut and paste of all the old material that is out there, which I have most all of, but this is all totally new material in the main feature and finally an english dubbing of The Life of Senna in Brazil, an old Japanese feature, I believe (at least the version I have is in Japanese). Most all of the extra's, except for "Racing is in my Blood (the second DVD) are all new.

Interesting, that MS is not interviewed. He would have been one of my first choices. I read Senna's and MS's biography and they're so intertwined. Each has hints at the other great man.

    Hi Tony,

I am enjoying the 355, it's great. I just got my new plates for it "94 SENNA". I'm suprised this was left, as everything else seemed to be taken. I was going to transfer my old NSX plates "SENNA 65" to the 355 but now I think I will just retire them as I fear, and am sure Shumi will break that record this year. Too bad in my book as that is the one thing I hoped Senna would keep, since no one compared to the excitement of Senna on a qualifying lap, going out for just one more hot lap.....

Couldn't agree more with that statement. I had an NSX Red/Black for 6 years until I bought my 355. That is a great plate, if you retire it let me know.

I think the reason was, that MS was not what he is now when that DVD came out. I never used to like MS, for what it mattered, but since time, I find him one of the best fellows in F1 not only as a Driver but more importantly as a Man. It was not only an honor and a privelge to watch Senna, but Michael Schumacer as well. I cannot pick someone more worthy to follow Senna as the greatest driver of his generation, but of all time Greatest Driver. Say what you want about Hamilton, but there only be one Ayrton Senna, and only one Michael Schumacher. IMHO....
