Announcement!!! Yesterday I collected the 550 fresh from servicing and fitted with a new custom-made centre-pipe exhaust replacement. The centre pipes are now parallel and UNSILENCED. The part was made by Ferrarifixer and fitted very easily. The sound is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! While still civilised at idle, wait until 3000-3500 rpm.... accelerating in tunnels it is now much louder than a 360, and thanks to the reduced backpressure (plus BMC air filters on the intake side) the engine is also more lively - it feels like it has gained 30HP or so. Guys, be ready (especially Cinquevalvole with his Fuchs F355 )... my car will no longer be a shrinking violet in the sound department!!!!

Hello Mark & all this other participants coming up from North, Anja & I want to start/drive on Saturday, 08.April towards Switzerland between 15:00 - 16:00 from Heidelberg/Hockenheim. We will drive the following route: A 61 Hockenheim A 5 Karlsruhe A 8 Pforzheim till Stuttgart A 81 Konstanz....Arbon Thats just 310 km from Hockenheim - Arbon and usual a relaxed 2 1/2 ....3 hours drive. That sounds like a solid plan. The best thing is that we contact Wolfgang as soon as we know what time Veerle and I will meet the UK gang (around Aachen). Then he can decide if he wants to wait for us or already drives ahead to steal the best room.
