Thanks guys for the cooperation - I know it was an unusual request but that's the way the hotel wanted to manage this reservation.

BTW - My PM inbox was only full very briefly, in the space of one day I got flooded with messages but now it's clear again.

TO summarize, those who have confirmed their reservation with Hotel Minerva are

    Wolfgang
    Ton
    "Hedge"
    "400Spyder"
    "Cinquevalvole"
    myself.

    Still missing:

    Mark Collins
    Simon.

I'm going to see Simon tomorrow, but can either Marc or Kevan contact Mark Collins privately to make sure he's received my message? It's quite urgent that he books his room by february - July will be high season and room availability won't last for long.

BTW - Have you had a look at the hotel website? Do you like it? I give you another link, this is for the amazing restaurant where we're going to have our first evening's dinner: www.ugiancu.it

    Ciao
    Andrea

Got back from skiing last night, confirmed to Hotel and pm'd you to confirm last night, obviously the message didn't get through although I didn't receive a rejection?

    regards

    WOW! that looks like fun!!!

Unfortunately my 355 only holds 2 ppl and not 3. And Im not sure I can get over to Europe to sort out the car issue before July...But I will ask the wife if she won't mind babysitting our 6 month old!

Otherwise I'd love to go! (get out of the Arizona heat)

Here is a pict of my 355 from Munich during a recent trip to France

btw - Who is that other Munich 355 owner? I have spent ALOT of time around Munich in Ferraris over the years!

    Hello Ron,
that would be awesome great, to have a participant from Paradise Valley, AZ on our Tuscany Rallye.
Do you want to air-cargo your 355?

The other participant from Munich is Patrick a.k.a. cinquevalvole with a wonderful blue 355 GTS. He is a great & funny guy:

Hi there! Please feel free to e-mail me or PM me if you want to join us. Since your car only has 2 seats and it would be expensive to ship to Europe, I have an alternative idea for you. I know a major rental company that has a few Maserati Coupes 4.2 available fully insured. The cost is relatively high but comparable to shipping your F355, AND the Maser has 4 comfortable seats. If you are interested I can arrange everything for you, including having the car delivered to your airport of choice. This is not one of those small rental agencies that specialise in supercars but give you no miles allowance, it is one of the major companies.

I hope to see you in Tuscany, I have enjoyed driving across Colorado and Arizona so many times (including last summer), I'm sure you'll enjoy driving in Italy!

Aircargo would be too expensive...so instead I keep my 355 in Munich in a collector car garage!

If you look closely in my other post you can see my Munich plate "M-GT 100" (Something I was really lucky to get...and its the old style plate as well)

    Ok, great!
Drive your 355 to Tuscany and rent a regular familycar for your family to follow us. You are all very welcome.

    Wolfgang,

I don't think that your pre-Tuscany BBQ is a good idea.
It will most probably get very late and the next morning we are planning to leave from Switzerland in the morning. I definitely don't want to drive with a hang-over the whole day. :)
I'd rather drive directly to Switzerland on saturday and have a relaxed departure with the gang on sundaymorning.

Can't we plan the BBQ on a different date? April or May?

    Hi Challange64,
starting from Munich with two 355 GTS would be the biggest fun!

For info our current plans (which inc Kevan & Linda as well) are to travel on the 10am (UK time) Eurotunnel on the Saturday and drive through to Switzerland, Ton, I would think we will be at Liege at approximately 2pm to 2.30pm, are we still planning to meet up?

    regards
