This is it. The only poll that matters from the best damn polling service on FChat. Simple rules: try to remember what color your 328 is. If you're confused, there's a little sticker under the rear deck lid with your paint code. Let's keep it to 328s only.
Addendum: let's keep it to 328s you currently own. I noticed the previous owner of my car can't bear to let go, lol.
Very tough not to go with Red/Tan. The Silver/Red combination is also quite impressive IMO. Bullfighter, your Met. Black/Tan is awesome as well. Then there is Yellow/Black combo, very sweet. Who am I kidding they are all equally gorgeous and I would take one in almost any color! 328's are the hottest thing on the planet outside of a Naked Victoria's Secret Model. Am I right?
As usual, put a smile on my face for this one. What is the last color in the poll ciao gattino met/905C. Never heard of that one. Got a photo? It's not listed in "the book." Robb
One of the 328s I looked at/drove during my search was this blu chiaro at FoD. The car was a nice driver, not a show car by any stretch, but I took this photo and every time I look at it I think twice. Just a cool color, and maybe even cooler because it's rare. It took some guts to order that in 1986. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bullfighter, the Blu Chiaro is a really cool color. My 350z is a similar shade of Blue. My guess is the chiaro part comes from the term chiaroscuro refering to light and dark contrasts. This visual effect is demonstrated well in Caravaggio paintings from the 15 hundreds.
Yes, that blu chiaro is a great color, it will be my first choice for my next Ferrari (550/575) don't care for what looks like the white interior, I would have gone with tan. For now I will have to settle with red/black. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, it was crema with black carpets. Actually, it looked better in person, and the Keith Collins mats were a nice touch. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I suppose everyone knows for which color I voted! (By the way, again there were no Blu Medio cars at Concorso Italiano. Some other rare colors, but alas, no twins to mine.)
When I was looking to purchase a 328 7 years ago, blu chiaro was the color I was looking for. Searched for almost 2 years with only one popping up on the radar for sale in Michigan at a price that I felt was unreasonable. In the end I got a Blue 328, just a different, and easier to keep looking clean blue...
Jon, I think you should add another thread to be a sticky for the 308's. I bet they have slightly more non-red's... Can't you remove the 308 crashing the argento party? Robb
