On a circuit, straight means following the racing line.
Vettel, being ahead by half a car's length made a natural move towards the right.
In my opinion Webber was insisting too much in defending a position which was already lost and either should have given more room or should have reacted to the move.

Also, even if Vettel had not moved to the right, neither would have a good entry into the next turn being in the dirt, off the racing line.

Answer me this, what do you think would have happened if you substitute Webber for Schumacher?

The position was not lost due to the simple fact Vettel had not completed the pass he was still beside Webber then BAM! It was clearly just a racing accident but such as all things in life the blame has too fall somewhere and in this case on Vettel. I do not dislike either driver just so yall know.

Webber is clearly known as one of the hardest drivers to pass but in this case he exercised self control imo as the line was his and his to hold and he did just that.

Webber pushed the issue... he was beaten and should have given enough room such that Vettel wouldn't have crashed into him.

He ought to let his superiors proceed when he has nothing for them.

 

You're assuming vettel could have stopped in time for the corner anyway. it's easy to overtake someone if you forget to stop.

 

Vettel merely had to go straight. That's it. Vettel turned into him. That's dumb as hell and Vettel deserves to be far back in the championship.
