    I know alot of people on F-chat play the guitar/piano/drums/etc. Share your Soundclick/Wav/Mp3 or whatever recording you have and let people comment/critique it. OR be a show off and post pictures of your equipment or instruments.

    I have a few, I need some critique. I've been playing the guitar for about 5 years. (Not to long) and I am NOT the best. I need some advice on my playing. Below are some recordings to critique or comment on:

    dude, the blues stuff you have blows ! and the stevie ray stuff, forget about it !!! you ll never match his playing, he was a genius !!!! he could make his strat cry and sing at the same time. keep practicing your a long way off. and yes i do play the guitar, for 21 yrs now and i cant even come close to stevie ray, page yes, he was and is very sloppy with the cords.. just my opinion..your not bad though, been palying for about 5 yrs ??? got any pics of chicks with fake jugs ??? that will get this crews attention

    LOL. Im not good. I just got "Learn to play like SRV" on CD-ROM".

    Encouraging words.

    Whenever I have time, I practice for about 1 hour. Sometimes school and work keeps me really busy. I was self taught and there are many guitar techniques and music theory that I missed out on because no one was there to teach me. But slowly and surely im learning and will keep on learning.

    Fake boobs? Not my kind of thing. I prefer naturale juggies. But Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

    BTW, It'd be great if you could post some sound bits or clips and your equipment.

    Anyhoo..How do you post a sound clip? I've been playin for a bit and I wouldn't mind an outside opinion on my playing.

    I taught guitar for six years and was self taught. Just keep at it. If you can get together with some other players it would be beneficial. Also working with a drummer will do wonders. Learn some theory and listen to a variety of players.

    Hey, man, i had some trouble with some of the links, but i had a chance to listen to SeekDestroy and it sounds pretty good... i think it's the recording quality that might be suspect, but your playing sounds good... In any case, "it blows" isn't really good advice to help you get anywhere; and it blows to get that kind of "advice"... There are some knowledgeable guitar people on here who will most certainly help you out... Good luck and keep us updated on your progress...

    piano rocks...... congrats to you ! i can only play a little..... my hands are guitar programed now :) its just after midnight and i just turned the amp off after playing for some fun :).

    Screw gear, man. Been there, done that. Like Ted Nugent said "ain't no toys on the floor to mess up the tone." What you wanna do is make your guitar do all that without "cheats." It will make you a far better player - if and when you do get "overplugged" in, you'll destroy all comers. Now, get in there, be the drum/bass, rhythm and lead all at the same time, all by yourself - and play until your fingers bleed, then play some more.
