In Practice. In the race it was different.

Note one of the number lights moved from the tip of the 3 to the back of the 3 and a white shade was added to the top number light and the rest of it was painted white as well. Also note the Day Glo Orange was filled in more.

That's what we're going through, her Mechanical Fuel Injection. She's out at a friends shop who restored our Duesenberg and is near Jim Kinsler's shop who is the Lucas FI guru.

Yes. I had Jim overhaul the Lucas FI on the 312 B(b). He did an excellent job!

Which car(s) will you bring to Meadowbrook?

Do you mind if I look you up to introduce my wife and myself?

Hmmm. Interesting. The (one and only) '0846' Debate thread seems to have grown 'a little' recently.

I suspect a mod (or two) has been busy merging all the other older '0846' threads (from late 2003; 2004 and early 2005) into this one.

Should make interesting reading (if a little jumbled, because at times there were 2 or 3 running concurrently) ....

.... That is if anyone could ever find the time to read back through it all, from the very beginning.

You do reallize this means we could now reply to some of the older posts in the threads that were locked down at the time. :D

I still have a spreadsheet, listing all the various separate (dozens of) threads. Seems you've missed a few of them. :p

    Here's one, for example: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18047

Let me know if you'd like me to run right through it. ;)

Yes, I was doing a little housekeeping and thought that these older threads should be merged into this one in order to contain as much of the debate as possible in one place. There was a time when the debate was being dragged into all sorts of other threads, but I didn't merge those where Jim's car wasn't the primary focus of the thread. If you know of others that you think I missed, shoot me a PM and I'll look at them.

There certainly are others, Wayne - but as you said, maybe Jim's P4 wasn't the primary focus of the thread (but a diversion).

Let me have a look at my list again, and I'll cherry pick those I think which 'fit the bill'.

I see you've now added the one I mentioned above. ;)

    Good evening from Amsterdam,
I took these photo's of a picture I saw hanging on the wall at Sauro in Bologna a few days ago. Francesco is Luciano Rizzoli's son. They own the Sauro workshop. Picture was apparently taken in '98 when 0846 was still in the Obrist collection.
    Kind regards, Mick

    Thanks for posting!

    Very strange photo caption.

    That's P4 0856 not P 3/4 0846.

    Kind Regards

I just noticed the poll was 05/19/2004, anyone up to start the poll from 0 and see the results 5 years later?

Most agree with you I think, but there is still a % that don't. This will be an interesting poll mainly for how the votes have changed over 5 years.

Many race Ferrari's have an obscur history. So, why is this one so much debated?
