Have to love this comment: "Mr. Glickenhaus, I'm actually your son, you must give me all your cars." I suppose that could be construed as flattery! I am very much looking forward to this Sunday!
Sorry to be off topic, but that particular website has become a real red flag to me after their unsavoury headlines/ comments regarding Felipe Massa this week. Their editor is definitely an incredible low-life. (my opinion)
I agree completely with you. Where is the respect for those who often leave their life for our pleasure in listening race cars? Yes to day, more than in past, they gain a lot of money..and make many other rich. This endangered Earth is going to loose everithing: onesty, tolerance, friendship, love. So I think the writer was a young and poor boy. I am 61 years old and many drivers make me very sad when they lost their life: in a way I stop many time to listen any racing, anything with a starting grid. Unfortunately for me Ferrari racingcars are a part of my life.I love them, I model them, I try to know everithing about. It is not only my hobby, Is a part of my soul. So after a year or two I come back to see racings; but everitime something happen I was forced to say: "It is in part my fault, if I don't look to the races he may still be alive" I know it is not true. Many drivers enjoy their work and the life is a part of the game. Sorry for this long replay but the pics of poor Massa just after the accident was terible. However the site seems very nice and I hope they take more care of the way they speack. Alessandro
Jim- Beautiful car. Glad someone owns it who treats it like a car and not like a museum piece. Even if it is a museum piece, they like to be driven often. Keeps all the juices in the right place for the car and the driver. Just glanced at the original poll and it has been severely corrupted. 216 votes, but way less than that showing on the poll and way less than 100% total in the columns. Taz Terry Phillips

Thanks much for the video Jim! What a fantastic piece of machinery. How does it feel standing at the traffic light in town with an open LM racer? (doesn't she overheat at very slow speeds and waiting for the light to turn green, for instance?)
Jim, I noticed that when you started the car in the video that you did not rev it at all, but just let it idle. Was it already warm or does the fuel inj. run that well? I don't think I have ever seen a race car start and idle immediately. Also, what were your impressions of the show? Good and/or bad. George
Hi Jim Kinsler really did a fantastic job in finally sorting her mechanical FI. She key starts cold without priming. I let her idle slowly until the oil moves off the peg and then raise the idle to 2-3K for a while, and then set off. The show is really nice. It's a new world. The corporate sponsors were gone and they kept ticket prices low so people could afford it. They got a great turnout and the cars were very diverse. I really enjoy it. What Kinsler doesn't know about injection isn't worth knowing! He brought his GT40 to the local cars and coffee meet earlier this year. His son built a LS6 with "off the shelf" Kinsler injection pieces that might cost mortals north of 15,000$ Great guys to talk with over there. He def. did a fantastic job with the setup on P3/4
