Maybe it´s just that they´re feeding the intercooler partially through the overhead air intake to make the sidepods smaller.

So far they´ve not been looking for lap times, only working on reliability and long runs, probably because they´ve been waiting for the new nose that Wolff said they´ll bring tomorrow.

Or maybe they are too confident that the car is the faster out there and the only worry about reliability. Or they might want to make everybody believe that they are not faster.

At least MB let their drivers race each other hard. 2013 was the worst. I'd watch long enough to see if Vettel lost and shut the tv off if he won. That and 2011 was horribly boring

Even Alonso thinks Mercedes are stronger - McLaren's Alonso believes Mercedes looks 'stronger than ever' in F1 - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Fernando Alonso believes Mercedes looks "stronger than ever" following the first two days of Formula 1 pre-season testing at Barcelona.

While the world champion team has not yet topped the times in Spain, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg comfortably completed the most laps on Monday and Tuesday.

"The Mercedes domination has not finished," said McLaren driver Alonso.

"They are very, very strong, and they are doing some interesting days of testing.

"These first two days, with that amount of laps [328 in total] means you have very clever things.

"So when you add the potential they are stronger than ever, even more than the last two years."
