Of course you should post vids bro.

$1500 for a windsheild? You serious? I don't think so. I once priced out a 246 Dino glass for alot less. However, I could be wrong.

Have you asked crazy! Ask GL if he has one kicking around? If not I KNOW he may be able to get one. Also, I do believe there is a huge glass place in Quebec that may help you. If I can only remember who they are again.

Vid posted, you gotta download it.
Vasco, GL doesn't have anymore in stock :( You can actually get a Daytona glass cheaper than a GT4 glass. Unbelievable!

I must agree, I wouldn't mangle a coupe just to live the dream, I would be proud of what I have.

Did you know that "chop-top" Daytonas are not admissible at any official Ferrari concours.

They're not original sypders...and no longer coupes.

Can't believe I haven't had a chance to post this till now, but on Monday, I saw a red F40 on an open flat bed going southbound on Yonge St. at Gloucester (couple blocks north of Wellesley) It was partially covered by a tarp, but there was no mistaking that it was an F40. I was gawking so much that I almost rear ended the car in front of me! Were there any arrivals expected at any car stores this week?

I did. But he seems to mention a couple of weeks from now. Could it be another car. Or the same car that needs to be prepped? Or are my eyeballs dancing in my noggen too much?

That had to have been one of the best days ever. Can't wait to do something like that again in the spring/summer!

EDIT: MuJo, chances are it's the same one. It was supposed to be here around this time, or so I understand.

If so, cool! At least I got a chance to gawk at it for a few seconds. I used to have my camera in my car all the time. MISTAKE! Now I've learned my lesson. I now have it in the car at all times again.

Yes I do, but more importantly why would they b!tch a car like that out.

It would only go down in value in the long term. I guess some people just dont care.

    Its a shame.

Posers...should have the car taken away from them and given to someone who can appreciate the coupe for what it is.

I remember that back on the 80's, Mike Sheehan was converting many coupes to spyders, and that he would keep the steel tops that he would chop. He figured that once the coupe population dwindled, people would start going for re-rebuilt berlinettas.

Thanks Rick. The SLR looked cool with the Hood and Doors Open! But made it horrible for any front angle pics, Since the hood basically covered everything

Nice! Jay, please post up more clips from the fall run if you've got any! This damn winter sure is going by slowly. Can't wait to get the car back on the road...
