anyone read about the 575M "GTC" package they are introing next year.
i think its the final version of the 575 until the replacement....
it has the large GT ceramic brakes, lower/stiffer suspension, sport exhuast,
faster/reprogramed f1, no engine mods though.
read about it in one of this months car magazines.

yes, pretty good package, but seriously expensive. A lot of that stuff will be optional on the upcoming new cars too.

Carbon/ceramic brakes will be optional on the 430, but the Porsche ones are any guide, they will probably be about a $10,000 option. I'm not sure how I feel about whether they are worth it. They are certainly great brakes, but $10,000 better...
Also, sport exhaust as a factory option: would you all get the sport exhaust or stick with aftermarket? It's nice that they are offering this from the factory, but I wonder if people are going to stick with Tubi or Capristo.

Ferrari brakes suck plain and simple. This is one area where Porsche has it hands-down over Ferrari.

Ceramic brakes aside, Porsche track and street cars have comparable brakes -- very similar. Ferrari Challlenge cars and Ferrari Road cars brake systems are SO different. Much better on the track cars.

I'm ordering my 430 with Ceramic Brakes.

19" rims are the way to go cuz the stock 360 rims are 18" already.

if i get the BBS stradale rims....ill gunmetal coat them or something. try to match my titanium color as brad suggested.

    Not ferrari chat stuff but..........

Electronics expo has a Canon Powershot A300 for $99.
3.2 Megapixels 16MB memory card ,digital zoom only (no optical)

I picked one up for keeping in the ferrari for runs. Not a good "main" camera, but a good one to keep in the car with no worries.

    damn....BBS CH 19" rims are only $2140-2300 for a set of 4!

    http://www.streetdreams.org/display.php?s=BBS&r=CH&fin=Silver

    19 x 8 ---- $2140
    19 x 8.5 -- $2200
    19 x 9.5 -- $2260
    19 x 10 --- $2300

which tire width is preferred for Ferrari 360s? thicker the better?

Im leaning towards the BBS DTM-Rad. I think they look more aggressive and slick. Dunno if they come in 19".....i emailed BBS to see if they will fit on a 360 Modena. First time Ive seen these DTM-Rad wheels. Anyone know how much they are? can't seem to find an english price quote on google or anywhere.

Do not really like the rear either but it is one of those things that will probably grow on everyone. I hated the 360 when it came out and now I think it is a beautiful looking car. The Enzo I had the same feelings about. I just have to see the car in person to really be able to tell.
