Looks like we are done for the year in Minnesota. Time to dig into the winter improvement projects. Image Unavailable, Please Login
it was 55 degrees here in Toronto and sunny today, no snow or slush just sayin' winter sucks though and it will be upon us soon enough
The snow is heading east and after it hits the the great lakes it should pick up streangth so please enjoy and go Wild
The snow is getting heavier and I am coming to terms with moving the car into the storage stall. Next I have to decide what winter projects to take on and what to do with the spare engine and tranny that I have. Part of me says just sell it, pay some bills and get the wife to quit complaining about it. The other part says build and use it as a test platform or at least a conversation piece when freinds come by. Forgive the messy garage I have spent the day getting the plow truck ready. hmmmm. Nice and sunny here in Scottsdale, Az. Went to the goodguys car show today. No f-cars but lots of American muscle. My wife is from Mankato. Brother lives in Elk River. Sister lives in Victoria. Parents summer in New Prague and winter here in Scottsdale. I live here in Scottsdale. I hate the snow. I would make that engine into a coffee table. The wife will love it. I think someone else on fchat did it.
If you can't reunite the engine with another 308/328 chassis (should be easy enough to find, I would think...), do something truly original with it and put it into another F-car...a Fiero. That would catch a lot of people off guard
I woke up to snow here in Oly, WA this morning. Very, very, very early snow for us here. Before 1993 I remember it snowing once in the previous 20 years before New Years. Now we've seemed to have a bunch of December...now November snow. Changing weather patterns, for sure. I need to hustle to get my 383ci stroker into my 4X4 Chevy truck...or at least consider putting my snow tires back on my Toyota daily driver.
I grew up in Kato Graduated from Loyola in 96 and my parents still live over there. A couple of old roomates were from New Prague and I am in Owatonna now. If you ever head up this way let me know and we can head to Lord Fltechers on Minnetonka for lunch.
Lots of snow in Spokane when watching the Wash st Utah game. Does seem like an early winter this year, snow also in SLC at he UCLA vs. Utah game. Seems very early for out west.
Sure looks like it. Almost all the ski areas have opened just this weekend around WA. Earliest opening in some 20 years for some of them. Even down in the lowlands around Seattle were seeing sub-freezing temps. Perfect time to prepare the garage for a certain aquisition (assuming PPI goes well)...
Down here in Louisiana we're having a nice week. Today is supposed to be mid 80's and probably a bit humid. I walked the dog this morning at 7:45 in shorts, t shirt and flip flops. Sadly my car is being stored in CA. But my Dad is in town, we'll go into New Orleans today for a Po-boy festival. The Rebirth Brass Band is playing outside at 4:30.
Canceled my road insurance and started the process of rubber bushing replacement on suspension in anticipation of the Mpls snow. I was not disappointed
attach a dynamo or generator to the motor & tell the wife it's in case the power goes out. Put a large piece of glass on it in the garage & let it do double-duty
For 20 years in San Diego, whenever I saw stories like this I'd feel sorry for car guys who had to live where it snowed. Now the 328 is in storage in MA and I'm living in Moscow, where it has snowed several times in the past month, was 20F this morning, and today sunrise was not until 915 am. I've only seen one F-car here, but there has to be more. Nice dealership right in the city.
Should be in the low 80's today; think I will take the 328 out for a spin. If I couldn't drive my car for the winter I would have severe withdrawals!
Since the Ferrari is sleeping I had to use my other Italian machine today, and the Benelli was good to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
We live in the best subdivision. Our homeowner's association offers free snow removal services. What a wonderful place, this America. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was 68 here yesterday in the sunny South, so I took the 308 out for a spin. So come on down, the weather is fine.
Indian summer this weekend in New England. I put 70 miles on the 308 driving around today and hanging out with our local group of Fcar buddies. Great time!
