Randy was always and in all ways, a nice guy and great person. I can not say enough good things about him. His absence leaves a large hole in the world, that will remain unfilled. My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences, to his family and all who shared the honor of knowing him.

My first trip into Continental for parts was a bit intimidating as I was a "non customer" needing small parts for an unsupported car. Expecting to be raked over the coals I was pleasantly surprised by Randy who not only took the time to look up trivial parts for a grey market car but extended me a token discount as well.
It's such a shame that bad things happen to good people. There are so many asshats the world would be better off without that remain while a good man departs his family and friends.
No NLA's in heaven Randy, peace.

When someone I know dies I always like to think of my favorite stories involving them. Randy was an all around great guy who was never too busy to help. I probably called him with 100 silly parts and how to questions about my car over the years and he always helped me find simple and straight forward ways to deal with them. However, my favorite Randy story involves Alice Cooper. In the mid/late 80's Cooper lived downtown and Continental was doing work on his Rolls. For some reason the car needed a new headlight housing and after a game of Foosball (IIRC) Cooper autographed it and gave it to Randy. I know I am not doing justice to the story as Randy told the story with such great joy and passion as only he could. Randy is a man who will be missed. T.C. & G.B.

Mods may want to post a link for others around the country because Randy helped so many of us find parts made of unobtainium.

My heart cries. I've known Randy for many years and always considered him a good friend.

I remember when we had a BBQ at Dan & Janie's 'Estate'. Randy was there and our relationship grew even stronger. He was a great friend and I truly miss him!

Skip introduced me to him at a meet one day and I saw him at another much later. He was such a nice guy from the moment you met him. Its just too bad because he seemed so young and open. At the very least it shows how much you made your time matter that when people reflect, all one hears is positives.

I remember when I told Randy that Jim Fuchs with his 166mm Spyder and me in a 308 were planning to drive our cars to Monterey in 2004. The next time I saw him he asked about our plans still being in the works. After we returned he said you really did drive there. The next time I saw him. He still said the same thing to me.

Great guy. Some may say easy going. All would say a Great Guy.

Thinking only the best about Randy, and now with tears in my eyes too.
