Looks like a lot more "meat" on the blue cars wheels given the width and over bulge on the rims. Also, the contour of the asphalt below the blue car can give some distortion compared the relatively flat surfaces the other two cars are on.

    Perfect stance? Come on!
Looks like SUVs to me :D

Drop it till there is no such gap between tire and fender.
And don't use the words "usuability" and "look" in the same sentence.
    Stance is all about look.

I'm surprised you're interested by look.

    Quoting you:
I guess you're young again then?
    Good for you! ;)

My guess is the blue car may be slightly lowered or have a small spacer in the front. Regardless every time I think I am going to nail a stance on a project it's never perfect. I would need wheels in half-inch increments, and I am sure once I was satisfied it would rub the fenderwell. They overall look good but the blue wears 'em best! GTO Joe I like your uneven asphalt theory!

It not so much that the stance is wrong* in the first blue image, it is that the 348 looks awkward on 20" tires.

Here is a car that really wants some sidewall size.

    (*) but it is.

That’s a head-scratcher. What are you trying to say, Mitch?

I guess Mitch was talking about low profile tires fitted on a 348.
The car was equiped stock with 25 and 26" overall diameter wheels.
If fitted with 20" diameter wheels, the gap is drastically increased.

The way to keep overall wheel diameter and reduce tire wall is to get bigger rims.
    Hence the 19" subject for 355 ;)

The gap between the tire and the fender shouldn't be larger than the tire sidewall. That's the best looking stance.

Functional ride height is something different. Proper suspension geometry combined with corner weighting can cause all sorts of wacky gaps.

Agree 2000%. My mission is to try to find a happy medium between the two.
