I was scheduled to bring in both my Scud and my 512TR to Griots this year as well...but I don't drive my Ferraris in the rain and it rained the week I was supposed to drive them into Griots...next year maybe if it does not rain I will get them there again. Griots has a great showroom and mass exposure for car enthusiast to enjoy our Ferraris! The front lamps were refreshed by Ferrari of Seattle...they did an amazing job as they were both very cloudy. Did you by any chance get your sticky bits addressed? ClayS (Scud and 512TR)
This explains their last minute call to me asking to bring my car(s) down. Haha. All of the sticky parts were addressed prior to my ownership thankfully. Griot's actually sells a product that supposedly cleans hazy lamps. Was hoping you had used it on your car..
I did purchased their product to address the head lamps and was going to try it on my Jetta first...I unpacked it and it still sits in my garage unused...I will try it on the Jetta sometime this summer if it has not dried up or become unusable. Do you get my car show list? I put a car show list together for the Ferrari community here in the Seattle area...let me know if you don't receive it...I will be sending version 2 out in the next few days. I would really like to see your 512TR as I am a huge fan of the model. My 512TR is at FoS right now but I have the Scud here at home. ClayS (Scud and 512TR)
As a side note, while I dont purposefully choose to drive mine in the rain it happens youre out on run and it rains, turns out mid engined ferrari have amazing traction in the rain.
Fantastic, buy em new, keep them up properly so you know they are in fine fettle and not from an abused home, and use them as intended/designed, that would be a priceless ownership experience.
That's interesting. May can you add your point of view here ? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/canada/550541-owners-manuals-canadian-spec-ferraris.html
Hey look at that I finally figured out how to use the quote feature! Duh! I like to drive them and they have certainty been in the rain! Load them with luggage and take then on 2 to 5k trips, park them outside at hotels and motels! There's a picture in blue Ferraris thread of the 430 on a road trip thru the Canadian Rockies. To bertrand328 My 86 328gts came with US manuals from new, has a speedometer in kilometres with the rest of the gauges in imperial and has a Canadian bumper with the tabs. It was purchased through Carter Motors in Vancouver B.C. which were the authorised dealer at the time. I am just leaving on a trip and will try to remember to post some pictures in the other thread when I get back.
not technically a two ferrari garage, but it should be. 2014 california 2016 ALFA 4C spider( modern day DINO) the light weight CF tub legal race car> Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Im tempted to go with 335S for the old school vintage one and then F12berlinetta for the new one that you can easily potter around with. Yes, a V12 sweep! (honorable mention to 458 Italia)
Nice pics. Closet Alfa fan myself, although never driven a 4c - From the camera shake, it looks like you got proper excited when you took the covers off ;-)
My dream pair would be F430 Scuderia and a new Ferrari California T for daily cruising. BUT I have to keep investing in good dividend stocks for few more years.
you should definitely drive one, they are by far the most fun you can legally have in a car. i drive it as much as possible. with a huge grin on my face
I would definitely go for Ferrari f12 and 458. Both are great cars and I like these two cars together. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can't get it down to less than four cars. I suppose any two would be great. 1964 Berlinetta Lusso 1968 Dino 206 1970 Daytona 1987 Testarossa
