Watched this great old movie last night with the wife. Anyone notice the 308 behind Fred Savage's head throughout the movie? I wonder how many people saw the car switching positions as they edit between the two shot and the single?

Ferrari 308s, Fred Savage, Princess Bride, and Andre the Giant are what the 80s are made out of.

I watched this with my daughter a couple weeks ago...and yes, I noticed the Ferrari.

By the way, it is not widely known, but Andre The Giant was so weak during shooting of the movie that he could barely stand up straight. He couldn't lift anyone. If memory serves, he had been recovering from a back surgery and was suffering from his heart failing.

Damn. Now I'm won't be able to sleep until I rent the movie and check it out for myself.

    Inconceivable! :D

(Maybe there were two: a 3x8 and a Boxer?)

I think about 90% of the films from the '80s had at least one Ferrari in it somewhere. ;)

In a rare "truth in movies" moment, in "Can't Buy Me Love" (1987), the guys are admiring a 328 (and the passenger seat contents) at an intersection. Meanwhile, the kid driving it couldn't find first gear. :p (Okay, 2nd would have been more like it, but they couldn't do that at a stop light.)

Yes, I remember the objects in the background re-arranging themselves between shots. I think they call that "continuity" and this error was quite blatant.

Saw it in the theaters when it first came out and much more recently at a midnight showing...
