... but that is okay. I got this idea from Heiko (HG Parts) many months ago when I saw a picture of his 355 from the rear. The diffusers under the car were painted body color and looked very cool flaring out under the muffler tips. As everyone knows they are flat black and are literally invisible underneath the car. What the heck - why not give it a try? The worst thing that could happen would be having to buy new ones because I destroyed the old ones.

Then came the yellow 360 a few weeks ago. Again - I thought - how cool would it look to paint the diffuser area under a 360? The tunnels are so dramatic that I thought it would make the car look very mean with two giant tunnels body painted. Since I didn't want the whole back end to be yellow I opted for a black Challenge grill to break up the color a bit. I love the way it came out!

I know there are going to be a number of people who will cringe and absolutely hate what I have done. But there have to be one or two people out there who will appreciate the "customization" right?? Maybe? :) :)

Love the cars Jeffrey (but you knew I would say that right :D ). I say keep both, and put challenge grilles on the F355.

Both cars are great, but I am dissapointed with your rim choice on the 360 (hey honesty among friends is ok, right?). Seeing your 355, I would have thought you would have gone with a different set, but hey whatever floats your boat.

Enjoy your cars in good health, and remove the for sale ad already ;)

EDIT: I am sure someone people will say why did you mess with perfection and such, but hey its your car, and as long as you are happy, who cares. Also if you keep an eye out on So Cal section, you know 360s are dime a dozen, so hey customization helps you differentiate. :) If you lived in Vancouver, WA, or Idaho, a stock 360 would do, but in the land of the sun, you gotta customize. I say more power to you. :)

Oh and say Hi to Jennifer :)

I think they both look Great!
    Actually, you've changed nothing,
    but merely accentuated details
    that were previously obscured…

    Before saying something...
Yes I'm someone that likes Ferrari to be all stock (purists). Okay lets start with the F355....
The wheels are nice (yes I do like them but the stock ones are still my favorite) , and I think you should put a challenge grill on the F355. (its too yellow).
    360 ...
I have nothing against painting the diffuser and great move by putting a challenge grill. The wheels on the 360 are the ones that look like the Enzo? (I love them). Do you have a picture of your 360 with the new wheels?

    Jeffrey,
    Love your Ferrari's!
Its good to see people doing other stuff on their Ferrari.

Hey Ryan. No worries here. :) Believe it or not - I actually like the Novitec wheels on the 360 more than the Axis wheels on the 355! Don't know why but they are just perfect (in my opinion). Very aggressive looking. Anyway, we couldn't possibly have the exact same taste all across the board now could we? :) And Jennifer says "hi" back!

I LOVE those wheels on the 360! They still have a Ferrari aura to them and look much better than the stock wheels! Excellent choice!

    The 355 looks great.

But the painted diffuser on the 360 just doesn't seem to flow to me. I like the wheels though.

I too have the same "FERRARI" aluminum sign, except mine is hanging in my room. Probably the best bang for the buck Ferrari piece I have.

Your cars look fantastic BTW. Especially those wheels on the 360! QUE BELLA:)

in that rear view...the diffuser painted body color accentuates things allright. It makes the car look like it has an udder !
(I just did not want to use the word "scrotum" in a pubic forum)

You can loan it to me for a week and i will put it back with some simple black Krylon paint, no charge.

    You asked....

I'm a purist, you've ruined these cars, so you must now relinquish them to me. :)

OK, I love the mods, very tastefully done.

i am a self proclaimed purist....but in my opinion i think that what you've done looks great and is merely a slight mod that makes the car different.

i draw the line when people put on body kits that that kill the lines of the car (ie Hamman). i do like the imola kits and similar looking ones though. nice wheels too by the way!

Jeffrey, boy that looks wonderful. You better keep that Yellow Hottie. I drove a 360 F1 today to possibly replace my 355, I think I agree with you and Jimmy, the 6 Speed is the way to go. I left you a message, give me a buzz when you get a second.

Jeffrey - I love the rims, can't wait to see it in person. I like the paint also - I want to see it next to a regular 360 now. :)
