I'm blown away with all this brand new unbelievable utility that everyone has been boasting about. Just look how easy those 4 doors and how easy it will be to access the back seats and the volume of that cargo space, I'd venture a guess, looks like it rivals a Range Rover.

    OR....

    It's basically it's an FF/Lusso

I'm not hating on the design, but good Lord, let's not make this out to be something it isn't. The reality of what this is compared to what people are making it out to be is wildly bizarre. Let's all just return to the planet. I'm a big fan of the FF/Lusso design and it's nice to see that Ferrari is updating that platform. I'd defiantly stick with the FUV and not SUV acronym.

    Exactly.

I viewed what I believe was one of the first F8 Spiders in final bodywork to come out of the factory a few months before it was officially unveiled. The bodywork was decorated with sharpie pen marks, pointing out panel gaps, fit and finish mistakes etc. (It nearly looked like one of those "art cars"). I was told this car would then be sent back to the production line and all the sharpie marks would be used to improve the precision of the tooling etc. for when it would enter formal production. If the Purosangue is slated for late fall/winter unveil, there will be a lot of improvements from any pictures surfacing now and the production ready product!

As someone else has already posted, I really don't understand why some are making their life more complicated than it needs to be by insinuating some form of conspiracy regarding the leaked pictures. Is the desire to "debunk" and be the first one to really leak the car so extreme? Each to their own. The two pictures leaked are the car as confirmed my numerous credible sources, any minor details will be cleaned up for official debut.

To all you people saying the leak is fake and photoshop, listen to this podcast at 07:24:
Sam Fane from the youtube channel "Seen Through Glass" and the podcast "Behind The Glass" was at Ferrari's event in Spain to do a review of the 296 GTB. While he was there, the SUV was leaked on social media, and he witnessed a wave of panic spreading amongst the employees at the event. Lot's of phone calls and desperate frustration. Just listen to the podcast, and you'll hear the story.

So there is no doubt that the photos are real and that the car is indeed the SUV from Ferrari.

I think you’re missing the point that it is in fact something new and different. Yes it’s a car. Yes it has seats and a steering wheel. However, if that’s your sole view of things then you have a very limited view.

It’s not an SUV. It’s not a typical GT. It’s a unique blend with the glorious 800hp V12. It’s in a unique category.

If this indeed is an evolutionary Lusso with a bit more height, rear leg and luggage space and the 812’s V12 - it will have an instant following and behold-The Ferrari Utility Vehicle is born.
Just don’t call it the Purosangue… please.
Unless this name is taken already by another car company call it the Diavolo

I would agree with you except if it looks like what we saw in those spy pics. I was personally interested until then as well.

The funny thing is we are comparing the Purosangue to the Lusso as if the Lusso is something to behold, um, for the longest time the FF and Lusso were considered the dogs of Ferrari.

Ferrari was "forcing" people to buy an FF in order to secure allocation for a special car, then they would sit at dealers with delivery miles selling for 1/2 the sticker price.

Personally I've always liked the FF and the Lusso but did not like having to buy one to get another car.

If the Lusso had 812 power I think many would have overlooked the dog looks.

Most car enthusiasts I know are shooting brake fans. I had an FF for a couple of years which I loved and almost pulled the trigger on a Lusso but decided to go in another direction. I'd like to consider the FUV but it's out of the question u less the styling is much different from these spy pics.

I’ve never longed for more HP in my Lusso. 680 is plenty. And speaking of looks, I get just as many stares and head-turns in my Lusso as I do in my F8. It’s more exotic and beautiful than 99% of the cars on the road.

It’s funny and looks are definitely subjective. The Lusso seemed to appeal much more to Europeans than Americans. My American friends would say they didn’t care for the looks and European friends would say it’s one of the best cars they’ve seen (generalization). Go figure.

I personally liked it and the Lusso and GTS are the two cars I wish I didn’t sell and am very tempted to buy them back. After this car market craziness of course.

Love my Lusso12 and GTS.. incredible cars! Totally support you buying them back but I am not so sure how things play out market wise - both in huge demand right now.
