    All the ones I know who have gotten the email from Ferrari either have a Roma or have one on order. Maybe that is a big determining factor.

    Perhaps, but the engine sound is certainly underwhelming - if that's indeed a V12!

    Technically my dealer has me categorized as a “VIP” but I wasn’t offered the PS, even after saying I think it is something I’d be interested in.
    I guess there is VIP-alpha and VIP-beta, and I’m a beta…wait, what!? Beta…never! :D

    Got the email. No Roma.

    Not asked for a deposit but emailed that I was in and assured that the factory notified them that I would get the email and would be given access to order the 12 on the first wave. Don’t know what the criteria are. But happy to know Maranello knows I’m alive.

    I was told yesterday by my dealer who generally keeps quiet on these things is it is definitely a NA V12 and is not a high sitting 4x4 but more a halfway house starting at around £340k and easily topping 400k£ with options. Plus it is not really an off roader.

    Can't wait to see it.

    So positioned above the 812 line I suppose.
    Meaning all 812 buyers should be part of the list.

    In China, asked my dealer about ordering ( I did not get e-mail), got laughed in the face, and was told a guy who has bought a couple of V-8 models, one V12 in the past, has a SF90 Spider on order, is not gonna get an allocation…..

    No real off-road capability;
    No high driving position;

    What does it give you that a Lusso with suspension lift doesn't (other than a higher suspension setting above 40kph)? Even the latest mule photos show a longitudinal body proportion similar to the Lusso. It makes you wonder why they bothered to develop it unless calling it an FUV is a way to finally lose the stigma associated with 4 seater Ferraris.

    China is by far the world's biggest market for luxury SUVs in this price range so be patient as Ferrari probably underestimated the demand for the vehicle in China and they will be forced to reallocate units.

    Ferrari is one of the worst performing luxury companies in the Chinese market and a sell in China equals 2.5 in EU and 2 in US for the stock and the Chairman knows this. Put your name on a list and if you don't receive a PS write the Chairman and tell him how poorly you were treated. Note the V12 engine might impact PS allocations for China, but the letter will help future standing.

    In the US Midwest, Ferrari has two new dealers, one in St. Louis and one in Minneapolis. I was told by my salesman that this was done to accommodate SUV sales to new customers of Ferrari. Previously in the Midwest there were dealers only in Chicagoland and Detroit. Is anyone aware of other new Ferrari dealers in the US?

    It's just a huge hatchback with a Ferrari emblem. And this hatchback will not even be able to drive over the curb. What's the point of this car? Four doors? Ferrari didn't even try to make an SUV - look at this huge and long hood, where the engine is again behind the front axle. This is another and standard GT from Ferrari. But only he has four doors and this is his main feature. LOL.

    If PS is not the name what will it be called? Hera are some more suggestions
    Ferrari Integral-as in all wheel drive
    Ferrari Forte- strong as an SUV should be
    Ferrari Alto- tall as it will be the tallest Ferrari
    Ferrari Maggiore- as it will be the largest Ferrari
    Ferrari Grande- big
    Ferrari Fiorentino-as it will probably be popular there
    Ferrari Panettiere- I mentioned this one before honoring the Breadvan
    Ferrari Cuesta- for the steep hills or ridges this vehicle will never climb
    Ferrari Balboa- also known as the Italian Stallion from the Rocky movies-Stallone would probably get the first one
    Any other takers for names?

    Totally agree,
    At the proposed price point the Lusso (both varieties) looks an exceptional car for the money.
    The day it is launched I wouldn't be surprised to see a big upsurge in enquiries for Lussos

    Does anybody “in the know” know if more than this initial allocation will be built or is it limited run? Will there be a smaller cylinder engine after the NA V12?

    My dealer rang me yesterday to assure me that despite not being on the initial list they will get me (the wife) into a PS… however I got the feeling on the phone that they could not guarantee this. I was 19th on their list for one and they said they are sure they will get more PS than they did Pistas of which they got 28.

    My dealer told me they will probably get more cars later but cannot guarantee the power train. They are told they should expect around the same number of cars per year as the V12 Lusso. They do not yet know what to expect for the total number because the time frame of production has not been disclosed to them.

    Any guesses on what the official weight will be. The GTC4 Lusso is 1920Kg so what does that make the PS ?
