Here is what I wrote and how I intended:

Recall in the US, many dealers forced an order for a GTC4 by requiring as prerequisite to order what you really wanted (Pista for example), the dealers typically had unused GTC4 allocations...this resulted in the number GTC4 produced to be far less than actual customer demand...

this resulted in the number GTC4 produced to be far MORE than actual customer demand...
    (thanks for clarification)

But, I'm sure your wife is beautiful- as they say....it is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm sure some people also thought the first generation Panamera was beautiful.

The problem is … it’s not sexy. It’s a Ferrari CAR. Which means in the eyes of potential buyers … it’s supposed to be sexy. The Purosangue will get a pass on this requirement because it is not a Ferrari CAR.

No. The FUV will be just as polarizing as the FF. Also the FUV IS a car.

At this point I'm convinced the camouflage is a safety feature, mandated by law, to keep onlooker's ocular stalks from spontaneously bursting into fire.

This picture shows a more “coupe line” of the roof that hasn’t been caught in the renders, I hope it will show clearly in the final product!

It looks very very close to the minimally camouflaged mule up above…near identical overall to my eye.

I am hoping that's not it, the rear angle looks awful. I am really hoping for something more aggressive, this looks too soft for me.

In mid-September all doubts regarding the Purosangue will be clarified. Until then, speculation about the design and its technical features will continue. The August issue of CAR magazine reveals some interesting information about the Purosangue :

Ferrari’s CEO: Benedetto Vigna confirmed he’s driven the Purosangue. He said “ We are confident this car will meet and exceed all customer’s expectation for performance, innovation and design. We will maintain the highest level of exclusivity. The Purosangue will not be our most relevant product. It will be a very interesting add-on to our product line up”

Engine: "Ferrari isn’t yet confirming power outputs or performance figures for the Purosangue but the recent 812 Competizione and SP3 Daytona both use an 840 hp evolution of the 6.5 liter V12 engine with an unrivalled 9500 rpm rev ceiling. Ferrari’s engineers may de-tune the engine a touch, but don’t count on it” “Specific power output is one of our core areas of excellence” said Fulgenzi.

Active Suspension : “Key to giving the Purosangue the agility Ferrari demands will be an innovative new active suspension system. FAST Ferrari Active Suspension Technology. This will be a suspension capable of both comfort and sport. This active suspension will give Maranello’s engineers complete control (ride, height, pitch,rollfront/rer dynamic weight distribution) over the Purosangue body as the car moves.”
Is Ferrari’s FAST active suspension an air-suspension system? We will find out soon.

I was speaking to the Ferrari dealer in Stockholm, Sweden recently. He said that the factory potential capability of the 812’s engine is nearly twice the specific output that was actually employed for the 812. Therefore, you could have a theoretical 1400hp+ in the V-12 SUV without the hybrid drivetrain but it would be hard to put that much power down on the street in any practical way. Let’s speculate on 1000hp or so and likely a hybrid as well for fuel economy reasons.

No chance that engine could make anywhere close to that without assistance and even if they pushed it to next level it would decrease reliability significantly.

NA not likely at all - it will need to be turbo charged or something to be able to get +1k hp.

Yup I would say this render it 95%+there. It captures the proportions really well. I think the back is the only part where it seems a bit off to me.
