That is a terrible post. Not funny and has no place in a car forum. Feel free not to like the car, but stop making fun of people’s countries. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I saw her and the logo was pretty clear, it will be called Purosangue. The logo is located under the right side of a big screen and just under a carbon fiber long piece.
https://www.hfgip.com/news/ferrari-purosangue-vs-purosangue-charity There seems to be no public record showing change of ownerships / court ruling. So unless she been given 2 different names I can't see how that is possible. All the big car and Business media were following this and reported on it when it started. had they found a change in ownership / ruling that story would have been run by now. So unless she 1) has 2 names for different country's or 2) Ferrari made and had accepted an offer they couldn't refuse that has been post dated to hide it. Otherwise I am at a loss.
I might not see it but how can this be any differently interpreted than the name (from the announcement) The wait will soon be over: on 13 September 2022 at 7:00pm CEST, we will reveal our new thoroughbred model to the world – the Ferrari Purosangue.
I strongly suggest you go and do some research on Marcel Massini. As I am sure once you do, you will want to retract that statement.
@Marcel Massini and @ferr9000 are both well connected and well informed (although maybe in different ways), but now one of them is wrong, they're saying opposite things.
And FWIW @ppg70 as a VVIP customer as I believe he is, should not be talking from vague rumours either. Then again everything is possible, last minute changes included. I'm absolutely 50/50 right now on new car being named Purosangue or something else...
One says that Purosangue is the name, the other says not. What I think is that the full name includes the word Purosangue (such as 360 Modena, 550 Maranello…), which makes them both be true in their ways: it’s not (only) Purosangue, but there is Purosangue in the name. Anyway, we’ll see on Tuesday…
We should set up a vote fer9000 versus Marcel. My vote is Marcel Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Let's talk again on 13th in the evening (Italian time of course) May be I will also suggest you go and do something!
Looking at the the logos, the name is 642 Bartoletti ! Rosso Mugello paint, suicide doors in the front, 250GT inspired headlights, painted shields.
It looks you don't know Italian, dude. Purosangue in Italian means "Pure Blood" and it's a word we use to identify the best racing horses. I think it's a perfect name as it wants to mean that despite being a raised side car it still retains the features of a racing horse like all Ferrari lineup. I don't want to tell anything about your first period, or I could be banned by the forum moderators forever: I only want to remember you that we - and nobody else- produce your beloved Ferrari. Ciao
I have no idea about which name the car will have, but I bet on Purosangue. What I know is that Marcel Massini is a well known vintage Ferrari expert but he has no official relationship with present Ferrari management. PPG70 and fer9000 are two fchatters I know in person and I also do know they have many friends among Ferrari factory executives: they know much more info about new Ferrari models than the ones they can share here, trust me. Ciao
