    I test drove one at my local dealership yesterday and was impressed with it. Handles well, sounds good, fast, and can't forget about the massaging seats. Wouldn't mind daily driving it. I guess people daily drive other $500k vehicles, so why not this one as well? It'll be interesting to see what kind of miles people rack up on these things. I have 2k miles on my sf90 spider, so it'll get driven. Not in love with the price tag but it is what it is at this point with all these cars...

    This is the custom-made Ferrari Purosangue, which reportedly belongs to the Ferrari president's brother. Mr. Piero Ferrari customized his Purosangue in Dora Green color in honor of his father Enzo who owned a 400 Superamerica in that same color. Gianni Agnelli was the owner of the first prototype of the 400 Superamerica, which was customized to his liking and painted in Luna d'Argento (Moon Silver). It turns out that the flamboyant owner of the Purosangue in this picture is one of Mr. Agnelli's grandchildren. Contrary to what Piero Ferrari did in honor of his father Enzo, he did not choose the color of his grandfather's Superamerica for his Purosangue. His option was a mule-type decoration.

    Any one know how lifter works?
    I have to decide whether to go for lifter or not.
    If it adds more complexity, like lifter works as separate system from suspension, I tend to not to choose one.

    It sits pretty high, why would you need a lifter?

    I disagree to some extent. I have been driving the Cayenne Turbo GT around for a week now and also had 2 Urus's. The Purosangue has such a long hood which makes it a bit more challenging to drive aggressively. I can also feel the weight difference to the Porsche immediately. That V12 is very heavy.

    Where I will agree is that in the right spec it really does look good, even the wheel arches look cool compared to photos. With this said they had 2 spec's, one with carbon and one with the black plastic. The black plastic makes the car look cheap and you cant really appreciate the lines and functional vents with the plastic.

    It drove great, good power, incredible sound and the brakes were good. They were a bit grabby at slow speeds though. What I thought is incredibly awful are the user controls. For the driver you are stuck with a tiny little screen that's kind of blocked by the steering wheel. Control is a tiny haptic thing on the steering wheel. Also, these cars dont have Nav, you have to use whatever is on your phone. I thought the Porsche entertainment system was awful but the Ferrari wins by a landslide. My spec came to about $530K, I am not sure I can justify it. My Urus Perf comes in a few weeks so I will have that to compare to as well.

    Thanks. I can’t argue with you on the subjective stuff, but I’ll mention that the unladen weight for the Puro, even with the V-12, is around 400 lbs less than the Cayenne Turbo GT (4,482lbs vs 4,894 lbs).

    This is probably why the Puro’s 0-200 kph time is so much quicker than the Porsche’s (10.6 vs 11.7). One would hope that the weight difference will translate to an overall better handling car as well. I haven’t driven a Turbo GT, but the Cayenne Turbo Coupe I drove felt far less agile and flat on the corners than the Puro did.

    Actual weight vs. real world is two different things. We all know Ferrari (and Lambo) generally quote lower than real world numbers. Porsche on the other hand seems to be pretty close. Also, my car is a 24' and makes a bit more power than the model quoted. Regardless, I am not drag racing either one. For a daily, I would like something fun with ample room and the entertainment system has to be spot on and neither one of these are close. My jeep is better than both by a wide margin. I am just not that excited about it but that could change.

    I don’t think that’s true anymore. I weighed both my cars and the 812 was heavier than quoted but the 296 was spot on.

    My view on the haptics changed, at first I liked them, but now, no. Often they have a hard time reading my inputs.

    totally, I also dislike how Roma does it. I was like sure the machine has nice haptics, but my fingers don't! lol
