Same here. We live in a crazy world, sadly. And I hope that fchat will one day have a dislike button. Marcel Massini
The finish of this Purosangue in my eyes is in a Verde Medio Metallizzato but I could be wrong. The color is very similar to the Dino 246 GT in the picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I said I could be wrong Thanks for the information, the finish of the Purosangue in the picture finally has a name. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mettallizzato please like this: Metallizzato. One "t" only at the beginning. Exactly as "Juli" wrote. Sorry, cannot resist. MM
Great post!! Congratulations on your order. With retirement coming in a few years, I cannot justify such purchase now (brand-new) but hopefully depreciation will play its role and in 3 or 4 years the PS is around 250K. In time to replace my Cali30…. I really want a PS (gorgeous, supercar, handling, 4 real seats, …).
The FF/GTC4 are of course on my list when it’s time to trade my Cali30 in a few years, they are fantastic vehicles, they are beautiful, they have the V12, etc… And one of them might well be my next Ferrari (my wife mentioned the Portofino instead ). But if the PS depreciates the same way the FF/Lusso depreciated after several years, then having a recent vehicle (and what a masterpiece!) might be the way to go… .
Tuesday I am driving the PS again! Looking forward to going through some finer details that I didn't check out when I drove it the first time. In Particular; 1. The Pano Roof Effectiveness. 2. The best seat Options. 3. The Pro and Con's on the lift kit. 4. How the silver Tail pipes look Vs Black 5. How the Matte Black Option wheels look.
I test drove a Purosangue for an hour or so a couple of weeks ago. Mostly city with a bit of motorway - so perhaps not the ideal test environment. I've been allocated one and put down the deposit but am trying to decide if I actually want one. A few of my immediate take aways: 1. The car had tinted rear windows and rear screen and in general, I found the rear view poor even with wing mirrors. The rear window is pretty small. 2. The handling at a reasonable speed on a curvy bit of motorway was good - flat when cornering. 3. I didn't find the V12 that punchy but then I was coming straight out of my 812 GTS and the Purosangue is a fair bit heavier and with less power. Sound was good. 4. Some of the controls are poorly placed - mirror, turn off stop/start, etc. Plus some would simply be much easier as analogue controls 5. Comfortable to sit in although, with tinting a little dark even with the sun roof. Definitely wouldn't go with window tinting. 6. Rear storage not great and laying rear seats flat means removing parcel shelf but also the panel behind the rear seats - no cover for rear seat armrest. Not well thought-out. 7. General look of the car is good and two my eye better than the Lusso by far. I think, as others have said, that the wheel arches benefit from the carbon trim. I would also want a bike rack if I got the car - an accessory that was mentioned at launch over a year ago - but apparently design on that is not yet finished and it was likely in 2024. The dealer did say that it would not be roof mounted, He thought it might have suction cups onto the rear which, doesn't sound right or very Ferrari to me. My gut feeling is I won't take the car - although interesting doesn't really give me what I want. Will be interesting to see if there's another iteration in the coming years.
