Too bad it is not staying in this province... I would have been interested Congrats on the new purchase!
Ha ha, I was walking through a neighborhood of your glorious city over the summer and was met by a gentleman who stated: "there's two seasons in Montreal, winter and construction!" Seems he's not the only one who noticed

arghh IMG codes are off and it won't let me upload anything over 500kb. Stupid fchat and then when I post its upside down! Jesus I didn't think I was so technologically challenged What ever happened to free imageshack hosting and simple IMG codes??? edit: got a couple to work, albeit low quality can anyone tell me anything about the last pic (FF) with the yellow grille surround? Don't think its a factory option, but I've seen a blue California (picture coming soon) with the same thing. Que se passe t'il de neuf au Quebec? Did anayonwe went to the Salon De L'auto and if so what was on the Ferrari booth? What would be the next event/gathering?
Ho! Ça sent le gars qui se prépare a sortir sa nouvelle FERRARI. BTW I was not very impressed with the Festival Ferrari last summer with only newer cars which I'm not a fan. Except is was an event to see the LaFerrari. Do you guys still recommend Sommet des légendes instead?
Since my passion transcends Ferrari and goes into anything vintage, Summit of Legends (for me) is a must! I thought that the Ferrari Fest was fine. The FXX cars were a blast. Sadly, with the rise in values of the older cars, I'm afraid that the owners will be a little more hesitant to beat them around the track. Still, I'll be at the this year's Ferrari Fest in Tremblant.....as a humble spectator. At the very root, the Tremblant events become nothing more than an excuse to get together with others in a wonderful setting. I remember one year our group was having such a blast eating, drinking and enjoying each other's company, that we weren't even noticing the track action.
Quiet times right now in the winter but we are preparing the FCA schedule for 2015 and will be posting it shortly.
I paid extra for the VIP tent at the Festival and it was absolutely incredible. Got my 150$'s worth and more (breakfast, drinks all day, lunch, terrasse, coffee, massages) There were huge giant screen TVs showing World Cup games and the tent was air conditioned. And it was a scorching hot day. Getting to see the F1 cars, Marc Gene, LaFerrari and going for a spin on the track with the cars was so much fun. I am definetly going back but this time I will also attend the saturday night party the night before which I hear was unbelievable... FMOQ and FNA did an outstanding job and I'm so happy that the festival is back this year.
Well I intend to be there this year with my new "bella" but I have to say that I also like the sommet des legendes better maybe because way back (1975-1980) I used to be in the show with a Datsun 510 car #18 in B production class, what great memories it procures me. it is just that I am feeling bored the doctors and Sylvie are watching me obliging to stay put and recuperate and its against my nature, I am like an "ours en cage" so fellow Quebec members I would appreciate to know what you are up to in this quiet season.
Is anyone planning to attend (gone already) to the MTL auto show? I will be going Sunday to see what is what and enjoy some awesome food!
