After hours of trying many things, researching the limited data on the net and here even looking at the 6112 Becker equivalent 7944 cascade, I FINALLY managed to get the radio language changed to English. Once i had managed that, the rest was pretty simple.

The unit was not SAV NAV enabled but theres a simple internal menu hack to add it, as long as you have the SW and CF card (which I picked up on ebay for £30 new) :D

Bluetooth all working also and pair with my iPhone.

Last issue to resolve is I have had to order an adapter to change the aerial connector to convert to new type.

Whilst colouring the leather I figured I would try the carpets. The first product I had ordered the other week I had attempted to use and recolour the red but it was pure rubbish, didn't take the colour and worthy of nothing but the bin.

So I figured why not try the spray I was using to do the leather ??? I wanted to spray the centre speaker grill anyway as its perforated leather so just continued and did the carpet to. Well the gamble paid off the carpets came out pretty neat in a nice shade of dark brown that will compliment the rest of the tan carpets and brown dash leather.

Yes it worked perfectly on all the smaller marks in the leather (there were a lot), the bigger tears and missing chunks of leather it did ok but not perfect. Had it been another car, I would have kept reapplying and confident eventually after many layers it would be unnoticeable but because its the Ratarossa i'm happy at the level it came out at, its a vast improvement on how it looked before.

Nice feeling not having any cut loose and unaccountable wires under the dash anymore. I know where they all are, where they go and the ones only ones I don’t now have connected is the loom for the old roof (interior lights/fog etc)

    SPAL MOTOR CONNECTOR CABLES

Graham ..... This one is just for you, to help you fix the blower motor on my old TR.

1.From Spal motor in top of heater unit 1x Red 1x Black wire > to Black connector
    2. Black connector spilts then into 4 wires 2x green/red stripe 2x brown/ black stripe >
    3. Two wires 1x brown/ black stripe 1x green/red then go into a relay (located on the bottom of the heater unit)
    4. The other two wires 1x green/red stripe 1x brown/black stripe go into the heater block connector (again located under the heater) this should be accessible behind the passenger kick plate.

So two things to check ....relay and cables

    Hope it helps

    those are vacuum hoses scott
try to push on the other side the buttoms and see what is working, then you see if right connected or not,
you may use a hand vacuum pump for testing

Whilst researching and looking through Shamile's thread I stumbled upon this image, its the plastic surround around the accelerator pedal. When installing the mystery carpet mat yesterday behind the pedal area I wondered if there should be a surround of some sort for the pedal protection as have always seen them on my other Ferrari's, so rather happy to find this image.

The better news is 'somewhere' I have seen that part in my boxes of bits, just figured it was an odd miscellaneous item that had been thrown in with the other Testarossa bits (there are a few but I keep them all anyway just in case) ..... Now to go on the hunt and track it down

Romano, I started testing with your idea. I blew up the tubes and could feel the change. Then discovered that actually I could connect it all up and test it on the passenger floor.

I just need a few tube connectors to join them where they have been cut. I had some but can't find them anywhere.

Looks for the identical cut mark on one that these two are the right ones to join back together.
