I spent some time @ Weissach in 1977; during that time there were 2 "el camino- style" studies in the studios, one on a 928 chassis, and one on a 924 chassis (which also had gobs of clay along the beltline = early 3D of what would become the 944), and a perfect original late '60's El Camino down in the garage area, with a 928 V8 in it! Everyone was closely checked for cameras!! James
