Is that the last effort? If they fail sell to Andretti. Oh, and start by dumping Ocon from Canada going forward.
Perfect. If that ****** tries to come back in any way, the FIA should kick out that team for trying to involve a guy who's rightfully been banned from F1 for life. Then the rest of the self centered team owners will be begging Andretti to enter their pathetic excuse for a championship! **In case of anyone missing their sense of humor today, this post contains 51% sarcasm.
I love him! F1 has been run by eunuchs since they banned Flavio. This sport needs bigger balls and a lot more of them. Drivers' race suits should be open to the waist so drivers can show off their hairy chests (the French drivers will complain the loudest). Drivers with a low sperm count should not be allowed to race. The "pitstop" contests should have women mud wrestlers slopping around as the guys try to change the rubber. At every pitstop the driver should be required to have a glass of wine. Bravo to the return of F1 for men.
I am in favour of the Rehabilitation of Past Offenders (it's British Law), so I cannot see why Flavio Briatore couldn't get back in F1. In what capacity, I don't know. Probably not as an official. As for the FIA F1 ban for life, it has been overturned as illegal years ago. I may be wrong, but I doubt if the Crashgate never went in front of a Criminal Court.
on the plus side, the Alpine hospitality scene will improve significantly Image Unavailable, Please Login
Do any of the F1 drivers have condoms as a sponsor? Flavio might get one of the manufacturers to sporsor a whole race...just like Rolex. The Slick and Strong Grand Prix of Loose Vegas. They could pass out free samples as customers entered the gates. Drivers' wives and girlfriends could endorse them. Sir Jackie Stewart might pose with one. They could offer them in compounds that match the tires...may their scientists could help Pirelli develope the extreme wet tires. Look at how much Flavio brings to the party.
Durex sponsored the Surtees F1 team, but I’m not sure if they sponsored any drivers. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm pretty sure his role is to broker the sale of the team. I won't be sorry to see them go. An embarrassment for a 'works' team!
Apparently he's officially now an advisor to Alpine: https://racingnews365.com/alpine-signs-former-team-principal-as-advisor
Welcome back, Flavio! An F1 personality with balls is just what this sport needs. The eunuchs at Liberty Media and the FIA have turned the sport into simulator racing with a condom. One way to slow down the pit stops and make the racing more exciting is to require the driver and the pit crew to all drink 7 oz glasses of wine before a car can be released back onto the track. Another would be to replace the Brundle grid walk with Grid Girl mud wrestling.
Evidently Mick S is due to test the Alpine at Le Castellet along side Doohan ...Flav probably involved in this ?
