"The Rock" replay on air Wednesday! - PICTURES

I watched it on Monday (that's the slot for city cable), it was great fun: He didn't cut anything out, so each of us gets his/her interview, his/her picture with the car and Carla saying "Don't go anywhere, we'll be right back". Daryl Adams and his Superformance GT40 are the opening interview. Also there are some scenes as we're trying to maneuver out of the place, backing up over the exit ramp.

It's all great and I taped it. Have to eventually digitize it and burn some DVD.

I just wish he'd get rid of the feathered ladies in between. That is so beyond cheesy and tacky. Oh well, I guess it is part of the show. Reminiscent of ...the twenties (as in 1920)?

 

Darn, I didn't get my interview, when my turn came we were about to leave. Does my car feature at all in the show?

 

Sorry, but I don't think so. I was waiting for it, but didn't see it. But you can come back next year. This was my 3rd time at the rock. Also, if you'd like to be on TV with your car, I got the right show for you in the summer. I'll let you know.

 

I saw the episode of Motorsports Unlimited on Wednesday night. It was not "the rock" episode. However, at the end of the show they showed a clip of next week's show which was "the rock". That would mean it will air next Wednesday 12/24 at 9:00 PM. Oh and by the way, it was on channel 35 on Comcast in the northern burbs.

 

I look forward to that. We'll be there most of the summer, we'll have our long vacation in September.

 

Crap, I really wanted to see it. I definately need a copy. When I was a kid me and my dad would watch his show and have been on in the background many times. Its nice to finally be interviewed! Sure the girls are tacky, but its part of the shows cheesy charm. Bill really cares about motorsports and has spend his life promoting it.

 

I need to see this! I have direct TV so I couldn't watch it.

 

Just finished burning a DVD of the part we were in: We used up about 50% of the entire show with our interviews. Nothing was cut, not even the roll-off.
