    HI all!

Sorry for the delay in posting, I've been too busy to volunteer at the Fox Car Collection in recent times, however I did pop in today to get the information that some of you have been after. First off, the Ferrari F50 is s/n 105800, however, the one you've all been waiting for, the world's only two tone Enzo is:

    s/n: 133018

There you guys have it. Sorry it took so long. I hope to see it on the barchetta Enzo registry.

No, I haven't. I have to get a digital camera; I think I'm the only person on this planet without one! When I do, I'll go down and take some pics and post them. The F50 s/n came from the plate attached to the top of the steering wheel rack (near the instrument cluster), whilst the Enzo s/n is from the R/H plaque which lists the recent F1 world championship wins, underneath of which it says 'matricola no. 133018'. Interestingly, the plate on the L/H does not have the full s/n, or month/year of production as I've seen on other Enzo's. Perhaps this might have something to do with the fact this is an Australian delivered car? Also, near the driver's side footwell, there is a plate which simply states '399 limited edition'.

I've sat in the Enzo, F50 and F40, and to be honest with you, if I could drive out in only one, I think it would be the F50. It just seemed the most focussed. This is only my opinion of course. I think the presence of a clutch pedal and open 6 speed gate may also have swayed my judgment! But the Enzo, that thing is from another planet and I love it dearly, two toned and all! FWIW, the yellow roof does look pretty average in pictures, yet in real life, it's not THAT bad. Mind you, I would probably have ordered a black or blue one.

Another interesting thing to note is that Enzo 133018 only has 32 kilometres on the clock. It has only been driven on the road once; it led the procession of a funeral for a child that had sadly died of cancer. The request was made by representatives of the child's family, and I believe Lindsay Fox gave the go ahead, which was a lovely gesture in my opinion. As you may be aware, the car cannot be registered (thus regularly driven) on Victorian roads. Also, a senior volunteer had to start the Enzo once (in order to move it) and it would not start. The battery was fine, so, being concerned that there was an issue, Ferrari in Italy were called. They quickly determined that since the car had not been started in 6 months, it had gone into 'sleep mode'. Needless to say, 'sleep mode' was disengaged, and the car started without issue.

I hope I haven't rambled too much, just thought I'd share some info with you guys on this unique vehicle.
