Is it just me, or did anyone else get chills as Michael showed his superiority when he passed Raikkonen in the closing laps of the F1 race Sunday? How cool was that!!! Schumi may have passed the torch, but he definitely went out on top!

Raikkonen has some VERY big shoes to fill.....

A true sportsman. When the championship was his the motor failed him. I didn't hear him curse anyone. Same with the fuel pump. His last laps were scorching fast.

I'll bet he'll show up somewhere else soon.

    What do you guys think?

    Ross Brawn, probably out.
    Nigel Stepney, probably out.
    Jean Todt, probably out.
    Schumacher, out.

So.....Team Schumacher F1 team coming up? With the dream team he's had around since Benneton?

Oh yeah, I was saying that very thing to the guys while watching the race at Midtown Sundries. It was a great pass and it certainly showed Raikkonen that he maybe the new driver but will never take his place.

I think Raikkonen is just as good of a driver, but his car was clearly not as good. Kimi was just trying to keep his position and defended it properly without a Montoya or Fisichella crash.

It was awesome and can't wait to see how Kimi does in a good car next year.

As soon as Kimi gets settled at Ferrari I think he will do great filling Michael's shoes.

He showed his superiority in that pass?
I wouldn't say so. Kimi was alot slower but yet did a very good job defending his position. But as Michael had a much better car he could brake later and also chose a tighter line around the bend. Something unlike Kimi. He had to turn out again to get the best line he could at that point to keep his speed.
If kimi had turned in even more to completly block Michael it would've resulted in a way to wide line in the corner letting the better braking and cornering Ferrari to pass him later in the corner.
There was nothing Kimi could have done better I think.

I guess I can't argue the point the the Ferrari is the superior car. Hopefully that will continue for many F1 seasons to come. Otherwise I may have to buy a Renault or something!!!
