Awesome pictures! I'm assuming you bought the package from the photographer on site? What group did you go with? I did RA with Chin Motorsports back in '12. Love that track! Your grigio Scud looks good with the yellow calipers. My '06 Gallardo was the same color scheme.
Thanks. The photos were taken by AwolPhoto. Only cost $60 for a package of 60 large format high-res pics. RA is awesome. Glad to have it as my home track. I do like the grey/yellow combo. I was playing on the Speciale configurator online and found myself selecting the same color scheme.
Awesome pics, thanks for sharing. I love the final series of turns on that track as it leads to the front straightaway, under the bridge. You gotta hold on and pray that the road is still there! Glad you enjoyed it!
^^Yeah, and pray that no one has crashed just over the hill where you can't see. Keeps you on your toes!
yup, same guy I bought my package from. What speed were you hitting on the back straight? I hit 155 in the CS, assuming you could hit 165. Carbon brakes are insane! lol Did you do a Chin or NASA event?
I got up to 155 indicated, but I think my speedo is 5 mph fast, so probably 150 in reality. I was a bit conservative because I didn't want to have an expensive incident occur (!) so I started to lighten up on the gas before cresting the hill. I'm sure I could have gotten well into the 160s if I kept my foot in it until later in the braking zone. Really? What car were you in? Pretty sure it wasn't an Fcar.
Nope, my car was getting a cage. (Not an Fcar) I was the instructor that rode with you for a session. That one session is going to cost me 50K. I thought I was okay looking for a "regular" F430 but your scud was awesome!
Oh, when you said take a few laps with me, I thought you meant at the same time but in another car. My mistake! Yes, she does make quite an impression doesn't she?
Yes, MVP. By the end of the day my times were in the low 1:40's. I didn't push too hard because I didn't want to end up in a gravel trap or a wall. Two other guys that day weren't so lucky in relation to the wall part. One of them even ended up upside down!
