We need a better picture of a 288. That one does it no justice.

    I think it's because it's below a 250 :p

I'd drive the 250 GTO as well.

My choice is the 250 GTO.

I'm presuming the key word here is "HAVE"; that is, own without regard to value. If my imaginary rich uncle is going to give me one of the two from his collection, then the 250 is the mandatory choice, since if I wished I could trade it for a month's worth of different 288's.

Having said that, I'd still pick the 250, even if their valuations were identical.

As much as I ought to go with the 250 for good, I'd want to drive it a lot, so I guess I'd take the 250, sell it, and buy a bunch of other Ferraris I love, especially the 288, of which I'd get two, one to drive the piss out of, and one to keep pristine.

I'd have to build myself another garage though.

Yes, I was thinking that the assumption would be you'd have it without spending money. But I left the market value as a signal of it's collectibility and the "I drive a $x million car on the road!" factor.

50/50 with 19 votes each so far!

Just tipped it in favor of the 288 GTO.

I wonder what the 250 GTO feels like when driving. I'd guess like a truck. Anybody knows?

Ever notice that no one complains about the GIANT SHIELDS on the 250 GTO or the grates on the rear of the Testarossa?!

Although the 288 is one of my all-time favorite rides, I just love old cars so I went with the 250 GTO.

There is just something so damn cool about vintage Sportscars, and the 250 is the coolest of them all.

I guess, in the immortal words of Nick Cage, that would make me a "connoisseur"

Sacrilege ... but the 288GTO may be even better looking. $$$ aside, that's one I'd love to find parked in my garage one morning.

    I agree,
    288 to drive.
    250 to garage and detail.
(of course first I would need the 1.6 million $$, I'm about 1.5 short, just now.)

Can't believe some of you would just stare and polish a 250GTO and not drive it!

Check out SN#3851 owned by Fabrizio Violati featured in Forza magazine #57. Regularly driven on road and track by Violati for 40 years. Plus, he always let his dog ride in it. Now, that's the way to get full use out of the car!
