For Italian sports car maker Ferrari NV, the end of a decades long losing streak on Formula One racetracks is a great relief, more so as it comes just when the company is stretching its brand by removing a longstanding ceiling on the number of cars it sells and expanding into other products.

By removing a longstanding ceiling on the number of cars it sells?

This won't end well. I hope I'm wrong.

I wouldn't call it a "decades" long losing streak.
They won the title in 07, came close in 08 and were close a couple of times with Alonso.
