30 years....sheesh, where did that go? I remember seeing this in theaters when originally released. Ken Wahl before he became a "Wiseguy". He drives a 930 Porsche in one of the final scenes if I recall, jumping over that wall they used to have in Germany.
Your movie "The Exterminator" is a favorite of mine also. I saw that as well when originally released. What I love about that movie is it captures the state that NYC was in at that time. NYC was a really rough place. I used to work in midtown during the summers in the mid to late 70s as a teenager and one wrong turn could put you on a block that resembled Beirut's Green Line. When I watch "The Exterminator" now I remember those days, before Rudy Guiliani turned Times Square into a shopping mecca. Not saying NYC is better or worse now or then, just different. "The Exterminator" really captures the "gritty-ness" of it all during that time. Stan Getz and Roger Grimsby - brilliant.
