I am not sure if this is Mark Toll's car based on the vette chasis or not. I have a lot of photos of the prototype when I was hanging with him years ago at the LBGP. IIRC he is still the only person legally allowed to manufacture these. Pedal faster! I still have never eaten mac-n-cheese or Top Ramen! Image Unavailable, Please Login
lol i wouldn't be surprised if it's the same one..because there are only 7 in the states and we both happened to see one in beverly hills..damn i wish i got a pic of it!
I've seen an MC12 "in the wild" as well (9/30/07 in Atlanta, Ga.) and have also heard the seven number. What do you think the correct number is and why?
I know for a fact that there are more than 7. I've seen 5 in one place, and there are definitely more than 2 in other places.
Couldn't pedal any faster, I'm out of shape. About the Mac and cheese thing...Do you want to look back on your life when your 50 and see that you never truly lived?
There's only fifty worldwide, so I'd be surprised if the number was too many more than seven, particularly as it was never "officially" sold here. I also think that some of the MC12s are actually the same car, as they move around a lot. For example, the car I saw in Atlanta was formerly at a Texas dealer and has now gone elsewhere in the country.
I know someone who has 2, another one has 3, and another that has 1. I have a hard time believing that there is only 1 more in the USA because while these people own these cars, people have seen or know of others in possession of other MC12s. Cars don't have to be "offically" sold here to be here. Let's say that your number of fifty is correct. I don't think it is impossible for 1/5 of all MC12s made (10) to be in the USA considering we are the largest market for luxury and exotic cars.
Actually I was probably one of a rare few kids in the world that had a soda fountain in my house. Spotted today: black R8 again on the 210 in old town Pas around 7:30

Wed morning on the 405 @Washington, about 9:30am, a grigio ingrid Daytona coupe on a flatbed hauler. Looked great.
LOL.... Someone with a strong power of observation. Can you tell who? He's posted in this very thread!
Ha! We were walking up the stairs in the garage looking for our floor, and I was trying to remember which car was next to the stairwell to recognize the floor we parked on... I was thinking, "Hmm... Infiniti Coupe... another Infiniti Coupe... another Infiniti Coupe..." ??!? And the top two were the same blue.
