90% sure I saw a red 250 GT Boano on a trailer today on the 101N near Buelton. Probably heading up to Monterey?

Red 360 spider with black top parked in a lot bordering Huntington Drive in Monrovia.

 

Today and tomorrow are usually good days for car watching along the 101N. I just wish I was headed in the same direction.

I think it started last Sunday; a boat-load of enclosed, private (and super clean) trailers going by (101 & Las Virgenes). Some have been open, some closed, and some have had very slick paint-jobs. Makes me miss Tipo's Ferrari rig from 2006.

 

Black five niner niner cruising eastbound 134 at the 2, this morning about 08:20.

Driving to Level 7 at 1100 Wilshire, beautiful black Lamborghini on 5, a new paper plate Ford GT on 6 under a car cover, and a Plymouth Prowler on 7. Whoa!

 

Caught that same 430 spider on Redhill this morning snoozing at the dyer stoplight around 9 am then turning on Alton.

 

blue 612 on 405 north passing the 90 @ 2:30pm (late Monterey straggler?)

yellow 275GTB on Imperial highway at LAX heading east towards 105 (go figure on that one).

 

Yesterday, I saw a rat rod that was anything but ratty, a red Karmann Ghia convertible and a yellow VW Thing. Today I saw some kind of 1950s monoposto racecar-looking thing - it looked and sounded awesome. And it was just cruising down the street like any other car.

I can't get over this. I've died and gone to car heaven!

Yesterday, Purple Diablo VT on the 73N around 8:40 or so.

 

In newport beach, i saw a red enzo parked outside of a plastic surgeon's office and a zit faced kid walking around around around and around it with a camera...

 

You give kids who are into photography a bad name.

 

Are you sure that purple Diablo was a VT?

 

6.0 sitting covered in a random parking lot in the Marina last night.

 

2 V8 Vantages in Valencia yesterday.

 

I do, but there's just so much to see and it all happens so quickly - unless the camera is hanging around my neck, turned on, I won't be able to get a picture of these cars.

Today, immediately after picking up some lunch, I saw gray Ford GT, a white 599(!), a dark red Gallardo Spider, an old whale tail white 911 and a 997 Turbo - all within two minutes of each and all less than half mile apart.

A white 599...!!!

 

saw an AMAZING Aston DBS today being detailed in the Hollywood Hills. Car is much more impressive in person that in pics or in the last Bond movie IMO...

 

No. I am not very familiar with the different Diablo configurations. Car had a rear spoiler.

Saw an Orange Lambo Murci on La Paz.

 

Caravaned from Monterey to Santa Maria on the way home today with a gray 599 and silver 575M. Stopped at In-n-Out for lunch with the 599. I'm pretty sure the driver (who was very polite and well spoken) I'm pretty sure was Paul Moyer. I really have a soft spot for the front engine cars...
