THE SPOTTERS THREAD

Did the "Cruise 4 Kids" charity rally yesterday in San Diego. Lots of great cars, including this Carrera GT. I had never seen one in person; loved the appearance. It looked like it was doing 130 just sitting there.

We also had a couple Ariel Atoms there (pretty impressive on the road, although I don't think I'd want to do a weekend drive with a full face helmet on for any length of time). Also had a couple Bugattis & various Bentleys, Ferraris and others in the herd.

The drive portion was almost like a road race in some sections; lots of pulsing from very fast to very slow (100 down to 40 up to 90 down to 30, etc.) with a drive through Del Mar on our way to Carlsbad for the lunch to end the event.

it looks like a 625TR. See posting #'s 4439 and 4442 on this thread. Assuming it is the "real deal," that's quite a spotting!!

Were you driving a 360 C/S? I see a C/F door panel.

 

yep...in my Giallo CS.... spotted a gorgeous RED CS heading the other way 20 min later..

 

I kind of thought that but was thrown off a bit...not a hint of the Giallo in the pic...figured some of it should have popped into the field of view.

Hopefully the owner of your "spotting" is a "chatter" and responds. The 625TR I snapped was Bruce Meyer's and he brought it to Supercar Sunday and parked right behind my Scud. Easy Spotter Op for me

Red 458 pulling out of Bel Air Crest and on to Sepulveda this morning around 11:15. I've seen the car on several occasions around that time. Nice looking brunette driving it.

 

I saw that same car a couple months ago and the people in the vintage section seemed to think it was a re-body.

Spotted a trio of white R8, 458, and GT-R tailing each other on the 60 west in the Montebello area this afternoon. 458 had Ferrari of Newport Beach plates.

 

Saw what I believe was a blue 308 in a WalMart parking lot in South Orange County. Is it a member here?

Looked like it was in great condition.

Wow, the 625TR looks amazing especially when what you are looking through has a carbon fiber frame, haha.
