I didn’t manage to have my GoPro up and running from the start. So the videos are just after having lunch and driving off Raten. More to follow Markus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNW7tVb4b7w&feature=youtu.be
On the way home http://youtu.be/WE6LdU80US4 Look what a cool garage I have for my Ferraris: You have to drive the cars into an elevator to access the garage: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWiyMLQaRlM[/ame] Hope you enjoy the videos! Markus
Great pics and videos! Miss some of the great driving roads in CH (grew up in AG), but definitely NOT missing the radar boxes. Whenever I am visiting my parents on Lake Zurich, I'm guaranteed to get at least 1 speeding ticket. Last time on Seestrasse by Bellevue leaving Zurich - got a ticket for 54 in a 50 - and I know where the radar box is located :-(.
Roads are amazing and Remo knows some great routes. Scenery is unbelievable. I am afraid me and Antonio where having a bit too much fun when entering the motorway. I was in front and pretty much floored it (after checking it was safe) when the dreaded flashes killed the moment. Just hoping I was not doing above 150 km else my license will be suspended for a month. Antonio was behind me, and he recons they got him too.
Fingers crossed you will "only" end up with a ticket - albeit an expensive one. I guess driving laws are stricter in CH than anywhere else I've been. I've NEVER had to pay for a speeding ticket in 25 years living in the US. Either got them dismissed in court, or ended up with a warning (last time getting clocked @ 96 MPH in a 55 MPH zone - cop just asked a few questions about the F-car and let me off).
Markus, really great garage, reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r29R1tJRRw (with the only difference that you got the nicer cars)
Martin Thanks for the link to this garage. Very nice, but I agree with you, the cars are not matching the garage The owner of the house/garage where I have parked my Ferraris is an architect. So he found a very nice solution. He (soon) is a Tesla owner and an old Jaguar is also parked in that garage. Markus
Dear gentlemen, Thank you once again for an Awesome afternoon!!! Indeed William and I were indeed having a bit too much fun..that V8 noise is just a problem...guess its just like being an alcoholic or something. Thank you Markus for organising everything and pleasure meeting everyone. I need to check out the open air tours I would love to join. Will upload pics soon.
hier die Variante für Schwindelfreie - hat den Vorteil, dass man den Motor laufen lassen kann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qOKO0PgL5c
Great we all had fun! What about Sunday, 7th of June for our next meeting? Same time (10.30 AM) same place (Mythenquai 50/60 in Zurich). Only if the weather is fine (dry roads). Who is in? Hope to see many of you again and some new faces (and cars) too Markus
Great! @Simon: Could you please send me a PM with your mail address and mobile number. We exchanged some infos after the meeting by e-mail (nothing special but it is just convenient to communicate by e-mail). Markus PS: Some of you might have noticed that there was a Lambo parked 100m away from us. I talked to the owner and asked if he wants to join as well. Did not hear back from him but I think a Lambo would be a nice contrast and addition to our F-cars.
We are starting our yearly Italy tour with the Ferrari on the 7th of June.. You are al welcome to tour around italy with us for a week http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif
