Very nice looking 458 Spider. Like the gunmetal wheels.
Thanks everyone. Looking forward to joining you on a group ride! F12Kid that's quite the beast you've got there. I have trouble sticking to the speed limit as it is, I wonder how you manage at all in a 730HP V12!
TTBOMK an F12 has 740 hp, not just 730. That's about what you need to go to the local post office. Marcel Massini
Tom Very nice car! And nice pictures too! Thats in Sihlbrugg. About 100m away where you parked your car is the house where my wife grew up. Markus
Dont miss these 10 HP PS: I was visiting Marcel last Saturday. That was absolutely incredible what he has about all the vintage Ferraris. I was expecting to see a lot of documents but it was way more than I could imagine. Unbelievable! Marcel knows EVERYTHING about these cars! Thanks again Marcel for showing me all your documentation!! PSPS: For all those of you who should not know who Marcel is (if there are any). Just go to the vintage section of F-Chat and read some of his posts
Dear F-Chatters from Switzerland! I am planning to stay in Monaco for a few days (25. to 27. Dec. 2015) with some good friends of mine. If you do not mind, then it would be very nice to meet some of you there, have a smalltalk with you and make some pictures of your cars! If somebody is interested please let me know! Greetings Adrian
Markus: Thanks. It was nice to have you here, but it must have been boring as you only stayed for 4 hours, most visitors leave at 3 o'clock in the morning.......... Best MM
I think this event could be very interesting for some F-Chatters from Switzerland: 08 Sep 16 - GT Alpine Rally Open Car Event :
Last week I drove the missus around Zurich a bit and noticed how bumpy the roads are, particularly around Mythenquai. Do you guys just avoid known bumpy roads, or chalk it up to the stiff suspension? I wonder if it is bad for the car since it did throw us around a bit. I was going slow (ie. below the speed limit), to the point where slowing down even more would've caused me to get honked at (a particular disgrace)! Did I go all soft driving my Panamera (which is more like a land ship than a car) and I should just learn to deal with it?
I have my manettino always set to RACE (best sound, SPORT is not noisy enough). If road condition went bad I set the suspension to "bumpy road". After that the ride is as smooth as butter But my trips to towns are once in a blue moon.
I push the bumpy road button on steering wheel. On FF keep in sport and use button otherwise if wife with me I use comfort. On F12 I keep in sport and use bumpy road button and keep exhaust valves open with Capristo remote.
I just wanted to give you guys an update regarding our Ferrari Drivers Club: Dimo designed our flyer and business cards and Simon (anubis) composed a great text for the backside of the flyers. They arrived last week and when I see a Ferrari I will attach them a flyer and a business card from our club (well, this might not be the best season for doing that now ). Inbetween we are 10 members! See list below. The website is still pending. I am planning to organize a fondue meet somewhen during January / February to get all together and to look forward to the new season. Here a closer look at the flyer and the business card. Maybe you cannot read the text on the back of the flyer. Markus PS: The mail address on the business card does work (you can send me mails to that address if you want) and the website is pending as written above. That's some awesome design on the flyers and biz cards. Great job guys! I looked at the link sent by Adrian (thanks for sharing!) and looked around the various routes the company suggests. I'm convinced that we should do a Black Forest tour next year because the roads and scenery look stunning! Markus, perhaps this could be the inaugural Club tour ?
Tom Thanks! Black Forrest (Schwarzwald) is on the tour plan and actually is our first tour in 2016, taking place April, 17 2016. See tour plan below (PDF). Today I parked next to a black California. So this was the first time I could put a flyer together with my biz card under his wipers. Markus Image Unavailable, Please Login
The members fee is CHF 250 and for another CHF 100 you can get your personal business cards together with your personal mail address (e.g. [email protected]). We also have neutral cards (see below). If you want some, I can give them to you (for free if you become a member of our club). Are you in? Markus PS: The main purpose of the business cards is to put them under the wipers when I see a parked F-car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
