Does not work. If captain slow is too slow he does not find out where the blizzers are... BTW will we see you too tomorrow? Markus
Unfortunately not, have other plans (last day of holiday). Have fun tomorrow! I expect nice pictures...
There is no better plan for the last holyday day than driving your Scuderia with 10 other Ferrari on the Stelvio pass.... 😁
So who is this Captain Slow? We're not talking about James May, are we, as he lives in the UK as far as I know Anyway, I'm about to leave for the drive towards Davos now. Looking forward to all the beautiful rides and exciting stories from members of this forum
We've made it to Davos - F12 is a bit ill but can make the trip until she goes to Basel for repair on Monday a.m
No idea - sounds like an exhaust leak at the x-pipe - thank god not at the sport cat connection to engine block.....she still good to go, tear her up a bit and put her in 1st thing Monday morning for repair --- annoying at best --- what you get for not driving these things often
Gents - was an absolute pleasure to meet/drive with you today --- looking forward to the next trip --- maybe we can organise mid sept Susten Pass and/or Grimsel
+1. I really enjoyed this day!! It was a great bunch of cars and very nice guys (and gals)! BTW: Did we already mention that the Ticinesi were a bit late? Re tours in September: Here are the next tours of the Ferrari Drivers Club: 27.8.2016: Weekend in Allgäu including some nice roads and visiting the car collection of a friend of mine with >70 cars 25.9.2016: Nice roads and small passes in Zurich and Aargau 15.10.2016: Driving training in Lignières @Kiddie (and others, of course): Let me know which tours you want to be in. Markus
This was a really wonderful experience, it was a pleasure to attend the drive all the way up to Stelvio with you all When we began parting our ways at the top of Stelvio Pass (at around 4pm if I recall), I ended up finish off the original route: - Drove over to Bormio and then then to Livigno (the Italian border control told me to move faster and make some noise!) - Then down south until I was back in Switzerland and began heading up north towards Samedan - Just prior to reaching Samedan, I went west to St-Moritz and discovered some new roads (never been there yet... I've drive up north from Stelvio Pass as well as through the tunnel north of Livigno) - From St-Moritz I drove north, got stuck in heavy traffic prior to Chur - And then again in more heavy traffic just before Zurich - Then through Bern and Lausanne arriving home at... Midnight. So 8 hours to get back home with just a few short breaks to top up with gas Boy did I sleep like a log after that, what with the drone of the Tubi still stuck in my head. Thank you F12KID and Elis for vouching for me. I need one more person according to the rules Well... start of a new week and back to work now, drive safe and take good care of your beautiful rides!
